Just so you guys know, I'm not a BIG fan of DC or Marvel. So, most of the time when I'm doing background stuff it's just something I made up.

Qibli's POV

I stood outside nervously with my dad beside me. He wore his classic Superman suit. Yes, my father was the great Man of Steel. His cold eyes stared at me with such intensity that I could feel his high expectations. I looked at the ground, not wanting to look him in the eyes. "Uh, Father, I should probably go in," I said.

"Okay then, remember that you are a role model," Father said, sighing. I nodded and gave him a quirky smile.

"Aren't I already?" I asked, chuckling. Clearly, Father didn't get that I was acting like a kid because he just frowned at me. I cleared my throat and nodded. "Yes, sir," I replied.

"Good," Father stated. He turned around and prepared for take-off. Just before he was going to go, Father said, "and, um, I love you, Qibli." Before he could hear my reply, Father took off into the sky, leaving me stranded in front of a large building.

"I love you too," I sighed. I turned around and faced the building. As I walked, my red cape blew gracefully against the wind. I felt many eyes stare at me and my nerves started jumping around like crazy. As I walked, I thought about Father. I thought about how he changed after Mother died. Ever since Mother died, I had the feeling to keep a close watch on him. Before she died, Mother was the only one that kept Father sane, and she was the only reason to keep fighting...until I came along.

But the fear of him wanting to take over the world stuck with me. That was why I was going to the Wings Of Fire League. So, I could train and practice. So, that someday if I have to, I would fight Superman. When I was inside, I saw eleven other superheroes. There were three Atlanteans, three humans, two lanterns, one shifter, one Amazonian, and one human with super strength.

I walked up to this one boy around my age. He had white hair and dark blue eyes. He didn't wear anything fancy...well...he wore a tux. Hmm, probably a spoiled brat that got in here because of his money, I observed. Five of the people here walked up to us and smiled at us. "Hello and welcome to the league!" The Shifter beamed. She had sandy yellow hair and green eyes. "My name is Sunny and these are my friends," she greeted. The thing that most people have trouble understanding is that Shifters look a lot like humans, and Lanterns can be mistaken for Shifters.

"In this league, you will learn how to fight, be a leader, and master your abilities. However, you will also help stop crime with us," One of the Lanterns declared. Her hair was green, and it faded into blue. "My name is Glory, and I will teach you guys how to be great leaders," the Lantern said.

"My name is Tsunami, and I will teach you guys how to fight like a pro," one of the Atlanteans said. She had wild brown hair and blue eyes. Tsunami kept eyeing another Atlantean who had light blonde hair and handsome light blue eyes.

"My name is Starflight, and I will teach you guys the importance of common knowledge," one of the humans said. He had dark brown hair and dark brown eyes. Yup, his class is going to be the most boring.

"My name is Clay and I will help with mastering your abilities," the human with super strength said. His eyes scanned everywhere but they landed on the Amazonian. She had wild curly red hair and piercing blue eyes. She was tall but elegant.

"And I'll be teaching you guys on your teamwork," Sunny beamed. "I will go around the room, and when I point to you, you will tell us your name, where you came from, your race, and your age." She looked around the room and pointed at one of the humans. She had black hair with streaks of purple, and her eyes were dark brown.

"My name is Fatespeaker," the human said. "I'm a human, but I can sort of see the future. I'm 21 years old."

"Nice to meet you, Fatespeaker," Sunny greeted. Starflight waved at Fatespeaker, and she blushed but waved back. Fatespeaker likes him. Starflight likes Sunny. I sense a love triangle about to form. I'm glad I'm not in one, that would be a NIGHTMARE, I thought.

Tsunami pointed at the Atlantean that she was eyeing. "I'm Riptide. I'm an Atlantean, and I'm 22 years old," he said. Tsunami turned away so she could smile. Glory rolled her eyes and pointed at the Atlantean next to Riptide.

"Hi, um, m-my name is T-Turtle," he stammered. "I'm an Atlantean -- Tsunami's brother --, and I'm 16 years old." I'm not the only kid here! Clay pointed at the Lantern next to Turtle.

"Hi! I'm Kinkajou! I'm a Lantern, and I'm 16, too!" the Lantern beamed. She had hair just like Glory, but instead of green shading into blue, it was yellow shading into orange. "This building is HUGE!" Glory chuckled then pointed to the guy next to me.

"My name is Prince Winter--"

"Wait, so your name is Prince Winter. Should we call you Prince for short?" I asked, cutting in. I didn't know why but I had the feeling to annoy this person to death with affection.

"No. That's my royal title. My name is Winter Whyte," snapped Winter. His blue pierced into my soul.

"Sorry, my bad. Just trying to calm everyone's nervous down, that's my go-to thing when I'm nervous or upset," I rambled. Winter scoffed and continued his introduction.

"As I was saying, I'm a human and I'm 16 years old," Winter growled. He faced me and gave me a death glare. "Your turn."

"Okay," I said, smirking. "My name is Qibli. I'm half-human and half-Kryptonian. I'm also 16," I introduced. Everyone gaped at me except the Amazonian next to me and the first five. "Yes, my father is Superman."

"My name is Peril," the girl next to me greeted. "I'm an Amazonian and I'm 2,000 years old," Peril introduced. Suddenly, there was a large knock. Peril flinched and a ball of flames appeared in her hands. Winter tapped his arm and an Iron Man type of suit appeared. I ran over to my suitcase using my super speed and changed quickly into something normal. I was way to quick for anyone to see.

I ran over to the door and opened it. Standing in front of me was the most gorgeous girl I have ever seen. "Hi," she said shyly. "My name is Moonwatcher -- you can call me Moon for short -- and I have a few questions to ask you guys."

Okay, this Chapter was a little boring, I must admit. But Then the next ones will be better! Hopefully...anyway, enjoy your day! ~Tsunamilion P.S If you don't want to call me Tsunamilion you can call me Mil. You can thank @Deacon08 for giving me the nickname!
