Qibli's POV

I put on suitable attire. Something that wasn't too casual but nothing too formal. Just a plain blue button-down shirt and jeans. As I buttoned my shirt, I saw Winter drawing something at his desk. I walked over to him and peeked over his shoulder. When I saw who he was drawing I felt a pang of jealously hit my heart. "Who ya drawing?" I asked. Winter flinched then stood up rapidly. His cold eyes glared at me and he snarled at me.

"None of your business," Winter growled. "Don't you have an interview to get to?" he sighed, sitting down.

"I do, actually," I frowned. I looked over his shoulder and shook my head. "You did her eyes wrong. Her eyes aren't violet, they're green." Winter stiffened and I walked away. I walked out of the dorm room and walked over to the entrance. I heard some grunting coming from the training. Out of my horrible curiosity, I went to check what was going on.

When I went into the training room, I saw Peril kicking the punching bag. I watched her for about fifteen minutes. After all, it was only 7:30. Peril punched the punching bag about a few times before it had too many burn marks. Suddenly, she turned in the air and kicked the punching bag. "Huh, I thought the bag would be halfway across China by now," I commented.

Peril whipped her head in my direction and glared at me. "First, you shouldn't be here, and second, what's China?"

"It's a country. Also, you shouldn't be here either," I stated.

Peril shrugged. "It's not like anybody can stop me," growled Peril.

"Clay can," I said. Peril tensed and out of the corner of my eyes, I saw her blush. Huh, the mention of his name makes her sweaty, blush, and tense. Interesting. Should I be worried about her? She seems so harmless. Those are the people that you should avoid, Qibli. Because the ones that SEEM harmless are always the harmful. But, aren't I meeting a harmless human soon?

"Yes, I noticed," Peril replied. She walked out of the room, her red hair whipping my face. What are you hiding Peril Skye? With that, I walked out of the training room and out the main entrance. Suddenly, I see a black Volvo s90 drive up to me. The tinted windows lowered and Moon was sitting in the driver's seat with an apologetic look.

"I am so sorry," Moon apologized. "I didn't name the place! Agh! So, um, I guess I could drive you to the place where we were supposed to meet," she rambled. I opened the door and sat down.

"It's fine, Moon," I chuckled. "At least you didn't forget," I smirked.

"Oh, I could never," she said sarcastically. Moon smiled at me then turned on the radio. You're Such A by Hailee Steinfeld turned on and Moon started singing along. "You keep calling, you keep calling. Say that you want it back..." sang Moon.

I smiled fondly at her as she sang. I tapped my hands against the dash to the beat. Moon blushed but continued to sing. "Dang, you're such a!" she sang. We drove all the way to a library somewhere in Central City.

"A library?" I questioned.

Moon blushed and turned off the engine. "Uh, it's the one place I feel secure," she whispered.

"I also feel secure when I'm in the desert or the beach. Anywhere with sand," I stated. Moon nodded and walked out of the car. We walked up the stair awkwardly and sat at the first table that we found.

"So...um, do you mind if we record this?" Moon asked. I nodded. She turned on her phone and pressed record. "So, first off, what's your name?"

"Qibli Kent," I answered. Moon's eyes widened when she heard my last name.

"As in-"

"Yes, as in Clark Kent's son," I chuckled. Moon smiled sheepishly then looked at the questions.

"Um, what's your plan for the city?" Moon asked.

"I plan to protect and save the city when I need to, with the help of the League of course," I answered formally.

"Yes, about that," Moon said. "Why make a league? There's already a league," Moon questioned.

"I don't know why the Originals wanted to make a League but I'm glad they did," I said. "Superheroes as one are strong, but together we are stronger."

"Wow. So wise," smirked Moon.

"Thank you," I said, bowing. Moon paused the recording and a mischievous glint appeared in her eyes.

"Do you want to go somewhere fun?" wondered Moon.

"I was waiting for you to ask me that," I grinned. I took my jacket off the chair and followed Moon out of the library. We took the bus to the carnival. Once we got there, Moon insisted on going on the highest rollercoaster. At first, I hesitated, shaking my head.

"What? Are you scared?" Moon asked, smirking.

"No! Let's get on that really high rollercoaster," I said. Moon giggled and dragged me up the stairs. The rollercoaster wasn't that bad. I just yelled the whole time and Moon screamed excitedly. After the rollercoaster, we walked over to some of the booths and played some games. But I won all of them.

We bought some cotton candy and hopped on the Ferris wheel. I didn't know how long we stayed here until the sky was filled with stars. "It's beautiful, isn't it?" Moon whispered.

I looked at her and said, "Yes. It is."

Moon turned to face me then blushed. "I don't normally do this," Moon blurted.

"Are you saying I'm special?" I gasped, placing my hand over my heart. "Well, thank you for this honor."

"Your welcome," Moon smiled. "20 questions. Go," Moon said suddenly.

"Um, What's your favorite color?" I asked.

"Purple. What's yours?"

"Yellow," I answered.

"It fits your personality," Moon proclaimed.

"What's your favorite animal?" I wondered.

"Baby Koalas," Moon swooned. "Yours?"

"A Scorpion," I said.

"Nice." We reached the bottom and we continued playing the game until we reached her house. "Well, it was nice hanging out with you," Moon whispered.

"It was nice hanging out with you too," I replied. She inched toward me and I inched toward her. Her lips were centimeters away from mine... Her breath was on my cheeks. I leaned closer, asking her permission. Moon placed her hand on my cheek, welcoming me in. I placed my lips on hers. Our lips synchronized as we kissed. When we pulled away, Moon placed her hand over her lips and kissed my cheek.

"Good night, Qibli," Moon murmured.

"Good night, Moonwatcher..." I watched as she walked back into her apartment. Once she was gone, I took off into the sky.

I kissed her... I thought smiling.

And she kissed me...
