Now that's it's raining more than ever,
Just know we still have each other,
And I will always be your friend,
Took an oath
So am sticking here to the end.

~Rihanna ft Jay Z - Umbrella.

Catallina's POV.

I am a nervous wreck. A complete nervous wreck.

I understand now why Leo never lets me know about his dealings.

It was inevitable that his work will catch up to me. Especially now that am carrying his Son.

I just never prepared myself for it.

I can't let my baby's father end up in jail. Regardless of the accusations and crime they say he committed, am sticking here to the end.

I was in the interrogation room, with my lawyer who I have not taken interest in remembering his name.

The room is small, but not too small.

It has no windows and the only light comes from the bulb on top of our heads.

A huge mirror is in front of me obviously they can see me from the other side.

Probably that's why my lawyer asked to speak with me in private before I got here. The place might be full of microphones waiting for me to just say one stupid thing.

The metal chair is freezing my ass already as I tried to get comfortable.

What is taking them so long?

A couple of minutes later after the complete silence since I didn't bother converse with my lawyer here, they finally made an entrance.

Sean and some other female cop comes in putting their all serious faces on as I remained having a poker face.

Game on suckers.

They sat opposite me trying to read body language. I looked calm in the outside but in the inside, I could hear my heart beat so loud, soon it will break out of my chest.

Calm down Cata.

If things go bad, fake a contraction.

I am heavily pregnant after all.

The only thing keeping me sane is knowing Leo is waiting for me outside.

"Let's start. Am Officer Adel Hawkins and this is my Partner Sean, I believe you have both met. Am going to ask you questions and it's good for you if you answer them truthfully. Are we together Ms. Montero?" The Officer is really prepared to make me word vomit.

Good luck.

"Yes Ma'am." I replied confidently.

"What is your relationship with El Diablo?" Her eyes were like that of a hawk looking at his prey. Not leaving me for a second.

"Leonardo. His name is Leonardo. I do not know who El Diablo is and I assume no one knows." I said as I looked at my lawyer who seemed pleased with my answer.

What I know is no one knows Leo is El diablo and if they do, they have no proof.

I don't know if it's a legend or not but they say anyone who has seen his face dies and if anyone lived after an encounter with him was because he had a mask on.

So the whole idea is not confirming their intuition.

"Ok. Leonardo. What's your relationship with him?" She seemed a little bit pissed.
