And now the bleeds
Into nightfall
And you are not here
To get me through it all
I let my guard down
And then you pulled the rug
I was getting kinda used to being someone you loved.
~Lewis Capaldi- Someone you loved.
Diablo's POV
Time: 5.45pm
Finally I had gotten rid of the awful bitch. I thought she would put up a fight like she usually did.
I finished my whiskey and went straight to my bedroom which was not very far considering this house was just a bungalow.
Changed my clothes into more comfortable ones and went to bed.
I couldn't help but think of Catallina through out and had this feeling something was wrong.
I quickly took my phone and called.
Straight to voicemail. Wtf!?
I called once more then I left a voicemail.
"Call me as soon as you can" Didnt want to sound like a desperate even when I was.
So I called someone I knew I could trust Catallina with, Babra.
Called her phone and with the first ring she picked sounding really off.
"Sir. Am glad you called, I had no means to call you since the phone you use is out of service." She talked so fast but my concern was one thing.
"Where is Catallina?" I spoke coldly because I knew I would not like the answer.
"Sir. She just escaped from the house for not really not long ago. And your... security has been chasing her to the woods Sir. They have not showed up yet." My blood was boiling up.
How could they hunt Catallina like an animal?
To make matters worse... Hugo my right-hand man didn't bother to inform me. Hugo disguises himself as the Head of Security since I had asked him to. I wanted Catallina to feel safe but if she knew she was surrounded by the most ruthless mafia members...
I quickly made calls and within a few hours I will be back in Mexico.
Fuck Colombia... I didn't care if anyone spotted me but for some reason Catallina was more important.
❄❄❄❄❄❄❄❄❄❄❄❄️❄️❄️
Funny how the time operates... an hour exactly I was in Mexico but because of the time difference it said it was still 5.46pm. It was getting dark so I had to work against time.
I had no luggage so as soon as they opened the gate I called for my mafia members since Hugo had only taken about 30 men.. more or less.
Had contacted them when I was in the plane to get a tracker and to prepare themselves.
We tracked Catallina's phone which read she was heading north obviously to the river so she could get to the road. Clever.
The thing she didn't know was that the road could only lead her back to my main house. The compound was surrounded by an electric fence so she had no chance of escaping.
The reason for the woods and the road was to torture people. I would release my captives giving them false hopes of freedom, give them a headstart to run and then send my men after them. In short no man came back alive.
"Now, if anyone gets the girl inform me first. No one is to harm the girl. If anyone could hurt even a single hair of that woman's head... you can't even imagine what I can do to you." I gave the command as cold as possible.
"Move out."
And everyone headed to the woods as I took my bike. It was only used a couple of times so it was still fresh. The engine was perfect and the tank was full. I put on my helmet and headed to woods.
Some had bikes, others had horses and some were on foot. I had to make sure the search lasted for the very short time. What I really hoped was that I could find her before anyone did.
