Catallina's POV.
He was really going to do it and I tried to go and stop him but Leo held my wrist and told me to go back. I nodded as he walked in front of me. The whole time I was on my knees since if I accidentally looked down I know I would faint.

"Before you go ahead and end your life... I know why you feel this is the best option. If I don't convince you out of this then you are free to do what you want." Leo spoke.

"You know nothing about me. You know nothing. So stay away." He was convinced he wanted to do this as he was this close to the edge still sitting down. He took a deep breath and..

"You are gay." Leo spoke out and I was complete not expecting this. I gave him a confused look then looked at Teca. He looked tensed and he didn't move. At least he was not moving. He looked back at Leo and then at me. I saw the regret in his eyes as tears balancing and close to fall. And that's when I realize what Leo was saying is true.

Oh.my.God.
My brother is gay! My brother is... gay.

"You might try to deny it but you know you cant. You cant deny who you really are. " Leo spoke as he went and sat on the edge of the roof his legs hanging down from 50 ft off the ground but sat a distance apart from Teca.
He removed his cigar from his pocket and lit it up. He started smoking and few moments puffs later, Teca broke the silence.

"How did you know?" Teca barely spoke.
"I have my resources. Besides I saw the videos that were uploaded that night." Leo still looking at the sky, clearly more calm than me. I sat a few feet away from the edge since my confidence had completely went to zero.

"I know its none of my business but you don't need people to like you if its not really you, you get me?"

"You cant know how it feels to be treated like an outcast. How it feels to disappoint people... your parents and now my own sister. To live in a community that feels disgusted by just saying your name or think just talking to them will make them... like me. I cant live like this. I rather die than live with pain and the anguish of rejection. I rather die than living knowing I will never be a complete man. A real man."

"Well I do... more than you can ever understand. You think killing yourself will help? You will just hurt your family kiddo. You think running away from your problem is being a real man? Face what you are and if you don't accept yourself. No one will. If being you makes people think you are a problem... the problem is not you but them." Diablo really hit a nerve there and I could see Teca tear up. He cried with such pain that I couldn't help it but do something.

I crawled till I got to Teca and hugged him from the back. I gave him a loving firm kiss on the forehead. I gave myself a confidence boost then moved closer to the edge and sat between Teca and Leo.

"Cat... what are you doing? I thought you are.."
"It doesn't matter. I love you more than anything else. You hear me Teca, I love you for who you really are and not what people choose to see or believe a version that's not even you."
I then looked at Leo and our eyes met then he smiled at me.
