Chapter 10

                Daehyun stood straight again and immediately got back to sense. "Whom did I just talk to just now?" his eyes trailed off to the direction the flying creature fled. "Ghost?"

He took his step one at a time as he walked down the hallway that led to the family library. *But it's rarely that someone is there* he gulped. *And I'm going there alone*

He turned into the library. Doojoon was there, immersed in writing the papers. Daehyun walked around the room. His eyes wandered off on every inch of the room but failed to see anything unusual. *Maybe I'm just seeing things* he eventually gave up and walked out from the room. A shadow figure stood behind Doojoon, watching him.

Sohyun sat on her bed. She zoned out. Daehyun came to her and sat against the dresser. "Yah"

She didn't respond. "Yoon Sohyun" he called once against. "Nae?" Sohyun finally snapped out from her daze. "You ready for tomorrow?" "I don't know" Sohyun breathe out to calm herself down. "The game is tomorrow but why am I already this nervous" she chuckled.

"I know you got this, Sohyun. You had been training all this while. And you're doing just fine" "That's what I'm afraid of. I might-" "Yah, your words might be jinx. Don't say any bad words" "Aish" she pouted. "Nae nae" she stood to turn off the light. Daehyun laid on the carpeted floor, staring to the ceiling.

"I'm curious. You said you can't sleep right? So what are you doing for the rest of the night?" she asked. "Just thinking, looking around, nothing much to do. I can't talk to myself since you'll listen to me. Why?" "Nothing" she turned off the light and turned on the fairy light. "Just asking out of curiosity"

Daehyun sat. "You think I don't know you? You never ask thing just out of curiosity"

"Well, this time I am" Sohyun got into her bed and pulled the cover onto her body. "Alright then let me ask you something out of curiosity too" he made her turned to him. Daehyun once again laid.

"What is it?" "The other day I saw you received message from Junhong. What did you two talking about? Didn't you two always hang out together at school? And you even want to chat with him even at home?" "You even want to know about that thing?" "Come on, tell me" "He said you had another seizure" "When?" "The other day. The day Jerry last visit. When you felt the chest pain for the...I don't know how many times. But I found out that every time you had those pain, you physical is suffering too" "And you had been hiding about this from me?" "What can you do with it if you know?" He was silent since she got a point.

He sighed and turned away from her. "Go to sleep. You have big game tomorrow"

"Nae. Good night" she turned the other side.

Daehyun rolled through the room as he was bored to death. He looked up to the clock. It was almost 2. He sighed. *It's still hours until morning*

A sound made him sat up quickly. He looked around. Sohyun had shoved her blanket away. She met eyes with him. "What are you doing there? How can you get there?"

Daehyun looked up to the door behind him. "Ah, I rolled around the room since I'm too bored. You? Why aren't you asleep yet? It's already really late"

Sohyun sighed and faced the ceiling. "I can't sleep. Maybe" she held up her trembling hands. "I'm too nervous for tomorrow"

"Wait there" he rolled to lay beside her that made her laughed. "You are really saving up your energy, do you?" "Yup" he smiled.
