Chapter 21

                Sohyun entered her room at home again. She bent down to grab her already packed bag. She was about to step out from the room but she paused. Once again she had a good look at her room. She was all alone in the room. Images of her first encounter with Daehyun went into her mind. She swallowed the lump. Her lips displayed a sad smile. "What a weird first meeting"

She walked down the stairs and met eyes with Mrs. Yoon.

"You sure you can go to school, dear? You can take the day off if you want" Mrs. Yoon asked. "No I'm alright now, omma" Sohyun smiled. "You rest up at home. Don't answer any call from the office. Your headache can worsen"

"I'll try not to answer any office call" she smiled.

Doojoon came. He met Sohyun's eyes. "Want me to drop you at school?"

"Nah I feel like walking today. Plus, I just got out from the hospital. I could use some exercise" she bowed. "I'm heading to school then"

Sohyun walked out from home. She turned into an alley. She recalled the day she forced to tell Daehyun about her dream and walking home with him after school. Sohyun felt her heart crushed into pieces. She swallowed the lump.

She entered the school compound to receive stares from students. She noticed but ignored them. She sat at her place in the class. Jieun turned to her. "Hey"

"Jieun-ah" Sohyun mustered a smile. "You sure it's okay for you to attend school? Don't you need more rest?" "Nah I'm fine. It must be a while I'm at school since the game ended" "Yea. I really miss you!" Jieun pinched her cheeks that made Sohyun giggled.

"It must be scary to be kidnap" "Kind of" "You mean?" "Nah nothing" Sohyun smiled as she remembered Daehyun being around her when she was kidnapped. And that helped her being less afraid.

"And now everything is revealed" Jieun sighed. "What a harsh reality to face. Your family must have had it tough. A person embezzled the company and even hit your favourite singer. How harsh can the reality be?"

"Tell me about it. But now I'm okay with it" "You mean you're just going to focus on your current school life?" "Yup. Looks like I need to have a new dream. Since I can't do archery anymore"

"The other day at the hospital, you look awful, you know? Doojoon oppa said I should give you some time alone after the doctor told about your condition" "So it's Doojoon oppa who drive all my friends away" she smirked. "Well, sorry that you have to see me in that condition"

"But seeing you alright now" Jieun smiled. "Really makes me happy. You're all healthy and regain your spirit"

Sohyun smiled at her. "Thank you, Jieun. For being concern of me"

Time flew and it was already recess.

"Jieun" a male student came to Jieun who walking with Sohyun through the hallway towards their class. "Pres" Jieun answered him. "I need you for a while" he voiced. Jieun met eyes with Sohyun. "I'll see you at class" Sohyun told her. "Thanks, Sohyun" Jieun replied before turned to the male student again. Sohyun watched as the two walked away from her. "Jieun is getting busy since she joined the student body society" Sohyun smirked. She continued to walk.

Her steps stopped in front of the staircase where she talked with Jiho before this. From there, she could see the school garden.

"Is that Jiho?" Sohyun saw a familiar figure from afar. "I need to talk to her"

She sprinted down the stairs and ran to her. Jiho who was staring at the pond looked up as she heard a set of footsteps approached her. "Sohyun"

"Hey, Jiho" Sohyun waved at her as she was panting.

"So he just disappears?" Jiho asked. Sohyun nodded. The two was seating on a bench nearby. "That explain why I don't see him around" Jiho turned to her. She took her hands and held onto it. "Sohyun, you need to be strong"

"But" Sohyun looked away. For a moment, she couldn't lift her head. Jiho caressed her back. "It's alright. Go on. Cry all you want"

"I miss him so much" Sohyun voiced between her sobs. "Why? I was starting to fall for him. And he just disappeared. Without letting me telling him my feeling"

"He's still alive. And when he wakes up, go on. Tell him how you feel, okay? You can still see him. Believe me"

Jiho let her bawl her eyes out.

The school last bell indicated that the school session for the day had ended.

"Bye" Jieun waved at her. Sohyun waved at her back. She watched as Jieun skipped out from the school gate. Sohyun saw some reporters crowded in front of the gate.

"Just whoever attract these 'bees' here again?" she sighed and stepped out the gate.

"Sohyun-ssi"
