Daehyun sat beside Youngjae who was leaning against the wall of the practise room. "Where are the others?" he asked. "Jongup and Junhong went to get some drinks a few minutes ago. Himchan, toilet" Yongguk who was busy tuning his electric guitar replied. Daehyun nodded in response. He turned to Youngjae again.
"What's that?" "This?" Youngjae scribbled something on the paper he was holding. Lines of sentences printed on it. "Our new song"
"Woah! Daebak!" Daehyun leaned in and read the lyrics. "You wrote this alone?"
"Nah. Everyone helped me, of course" Youngjae smiled.
Daehyun still read the lyrics but paused at a verse. "Can I" he held out his hand. Youngjae gave him the sheet. Daehyun read the sentence once again, this time with his finger pointed to the lyrics. *Why does this sound familiar?*
"Ah that" Youngjae chuckled. "I really have a hard time getting the rhyme right. I was at the"
*Rooftop* Daehyun remembered seeing Youngjae writing the lyrics on the rooftop of the building. His eyes widened.
"Rooftop at that time. Well I did struggle to complete that one lyrics" Youngjae chuckled.
Yongguk's phone rang. He looked at the caller's ID. Yongguk walked out from the practise room. He leaned against the wall with his phone on his ear.
"Sohyun-ah" he called. "Yongguk hyung" Sohyun smiled. "I just want to apologise for yesterday"
"No I'm the one who should apologise. Daehyun really... I don't know how to put this. He isn't usually that rude to people. Forgive him" "I understand. Maybe he's in too much stress. Since all of you are busy with many things lately" "But you're okay, right?" "Me?" Sohyun stopped from wiping the window of her room. She turned to her room. And it was in mess since she was cleaning up things. "I'm fine don't worry"
"You sure?" "Yup" "You can tell me how you're feeling you know. Don't keep any secret"
She sighed. "I do feel sad. But that just it. Since he forgets me, I decided to forget him"
"Yah, really? That fast?" "I can't hold on this feeling for long alone" "Maybe you two can get to know each other again" "Yes I want. But the next time we know each other again, I hope to just stay friends with him, no special feeling for him except friend" "So you're telling me you're friend zoning him?" "As if he ever like me" she smirked.
"Hyung, I'm hanging up. I need to clean my room" "Is this a way for you to forget him, Sohyun?" "You can say that" she smiled. "Thank you, hyung" "Nae. Thank you too, Sohyun"
Yongguk kept his phone and turned to the door only to meet Daehyun who pushed open the door. "Going somewhere?" Yongguk asked.
"Yeah" Daehyun looked away. He was about to walk away but Yongguk pulled him by his arm. "You okay, Dae? You seems confused"
"I'm fine" Daehyun pushed his hand aside. "I just" his pupil shook. "I'm just going to get some fresh air. I'll be back"
Yongguk watched as Daehyun walked through the hallway.
Daehyun walked through the shoplot.
*What is that?* his mind displayed flashes of images of him at the rooftop with Youngjae. He recalled seeing Youngjae struggle to find the right word, him trying to tell Youngjae about the word 'wind' and Youngjae unable to listen or see him. *Is it just my imagination? But it felt so real! But Youngjae wrote the lyrics when I was still unconscious*
His steps stopped in front of the hand-cut noodle restaurant. "It had been a while since I eat here" His eyes suddenly widened as the image of him dropping the chopstick off the table and Sohyun and Yongguk shock faces. Daehyun knocked his head. "What's wrong with you?" *What's all that?!* He recalled Sohyun's smiling face when she was talking to Yongguk beside him.
*Damn it! Please just stop it!*
Daehyun sprinted passed people who walking down the pavement. *What's all that? My memory? But I'm unconscious at that time. My soul wander around? But why* the images of Sohyun came into his mind. He remembered when he was in her room, while she was training, the match she won and the scene she was abducted. His steps stopped. *Why am I only seeing that person in my memory?*
He looked up. The pastry shop was before him.
"Even if it takes a thousand years, I'll wait for you"
He remembered Sohyun said those words to him. Daehyun's eyes widened. "Sohyun" he whispered.
