It's been a few days since I flew to Sydney. My parents already applied me to the private school down town. All I need to do now is find a job. I don't think I need a car because my apartment is walking distance to anything and everything.

I walked along the freshly made concrete sidewalk. The weather was biting cold, and the wind didn't help at all. I had on my Ugg boots and black leggings on. I had a forest green pea coat on and my sweater patterned beanie. Under that I wore my Nirvana t-shirt. I had only concealer, eyeliner, and mascara on. I didn't really do my eyeliner often, but today was special. My eyes were on fleek, alright?

I past all the apartments and got to the stores and restaurants. This big-ass limousine drives by, and I see the window roll down, "Hello Love," I hear a sweet Aussie accent call out, "Are you heading to school?" I nod to the dimple faced teen. "Oh that's great! My buddies and I are too, I know it's mighty cold, and I was just wondering if a pretty lady like yourself wanted a ride!" He shined out a one hundred dollar smile. "Um, well I only just met you... I don't think that would be nec-" he interrupts, "AMERICAN?" he seemed excited. "Dammit Ashton, move your ass." A girl appeared at the corner of the window. "Hey sorry about him, he acts creepy to new people he meets, I'm Tessa by the way. If you want a ride, I'll make sure these guys don't freak you out," she laughed. "Oh alright," I agreed. "Yay!" the boy practically yelled out.

I crawled in the door to meet three other boys and and another girl. "Oh, I'm sorry," Tessa started, "I didn't catch your name." "Ellicity. Ellicity Edwards. My friends call me Ell." I smiled. "Well in that case, I'll call you Ell," she smiled back. "This is Kyla," she smiled over to her friend. "Oh and these fellows here are Ashton," she points towards the boy that I saw in the window, "Calum and Michael," she points to the boys in front of us, and they sent a friendly wave my way. "Oh and this kid right here is Lucas." He shot a death look her way, "Don't call me that, Tess." he looked at me, "Name's Luke. Only Luke." he hissed. "Well he seems friendly," I scoffed, "Anyways, it's nice to meet you guys. I'm new and was wondering if one of you could show me my way to the office when we arrive." "Of course! Sure! I ca-" "I"ll do it!" Michael and Calum said in unison. "No guys, you're going to be even later to class than you already are." Tessa protested, "Ky, can you take her?" she questioned. "Yeah I can!" she stuck her tongue out to the pouting boys.

We walked through the big black doors, the entrance was already huge. We made a turn or two, through the giant halls which was still crowded as hell, and made it to the office. "Okay I need to get to class, but they'll have someone show you your way around." "Okay, Thanks Ky, can I call you Ky?" "Of course! Have fun!" she hugged me goodbye, and she was off to her home room.

"Hi, I'm Ellicity Edwards, I'm here for my schedule?" I said to the large woman with a big smile plastered across her face, sitting behind the desk. "Ellicity..." she shuffled through her papers. "Ellic- Ah yes here we are!" she handed a white paper over to me. "We'll call a student who has most or all of their classes with you to show you your way." she handed me a map, "In case you get lost later." she grinned towards me. "Find your way back here if you have any more questions." "Alright, Thank you so much." I smiled back and took a seat to wait for my tourer.

I hear a door open. I thought nothing of it until, "Ellicity, this is Luca- I mean Luke Hemmings, he will show you around." Fantastic. "Oh hello, Luke." I grinned. "Whatever Elli, let's go."

He showed me to my locker then my first teacher. "This is Mr. Buckly, he's known for being an ass, no matter how smart or nice you are, so get it out if your head that people will like you because you're 'sweet'," he growled. "Well damn, sorry I'm so nice." I laughed. He showed me to my other classes and told me everything I need to look out for in my teachers.

"Luke, What classes do you have with me?" I questioned as I walked beside him. "Six too many." he sighed. "So all of them? Great." he glared at me after I said that, "Edwards, I swear to God that I w-" the bell rang and the students flooded the hall. "Okay you know the way to second block, good luck." "Dude, I just have to follow you."
