I walked my once-usual-way home; the route I took before he came around and started driving me. Winter chills nipped at my nose, creating an even redder tint, considering I had been crying my eyes out already. The wind was somewhat mellow, and the air had been soaked with the smell of- coffee?

I slowed my pace to find myself in front of my flat.

Where is it coming from?

"Over here Edwards." Mikey smiles from the curb in front of my building. He handed me a hot cup of fresh coffee as I sat next to him. The heat of the disposable cup warmed my icey fingertips.

"You cold?" Mike asks with a hint of sympathy in his eye.
I nod, looking ahead of me without expression.

He unziped his big jacket and put it around my shoulders.

"Thanks Mikey." I try to say with a bit of compassion.

"Well your gratitude is much appreciated Ell."

I remained silent because I was so tired of speaking, only to become upset over and over again.

"You know," he began, "In a way, he is right." He sighed and sipped his drink. "He told you?" I turned his way, only to be even more upset by his expression.

"That doesn't matter right now Ell. What matters is that you need to move-"

"Move on? How could you say that? He's the love of my life. Hell, he is my life."

"Right now, what he wants is for you to find someone else who isn't a bad influence and can hurt you. That means secluding me and the rest of us. And we all want the same thing; for you to be safe. That can't happen as long as we're around you. We're bad for you. Purity can't spread over to something so damaged, but evil can. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry; It's for the best. I love you Elli."

One tear falls out of my emotionless face. "Love you too." I say, still staring ahead of me. Michael side-hugs me then stands up and disappeared into the evening.

Everyone is gone.

I ran into my apartment, teary eyed, and threw my bag on the floor. Without closing my door, I sat on the floor, hugging my knees.

Everyone is gone.

Chloe.

Luke.

Mikey.

Cal.

Ash.

Then it hit me. Where's Tessa and Kyla?

I was too lazy to walk to my bag, so I crawled over and pulled out my phone.

My fingers shook as they dialed the numbers. It rung twice before I heard the voice of my angelic friend.

"Ellicity?"

I sniffled and opened my mouth, only to let out a small squeak.

"Oh sweetie. I'll be there with Ky in ten."

She ended the call with that. I placed my hand on the counter to help me stand up. I closed the door and put on sweat pants and a big shirt. I was opening the freezer to reach for my cookie dough ice cream when I heard the door.

"Come in," I called out.

They opened the door and shut it behind them.

I walk to the hall, ready to greet them.

"Guys you didn't have to come, but I do appreciate the gest-" I look around the corner and paused.

"Logan?"
