I woke up to a blinking 7:30 in my face. I knew I was bound to be late. I jumped out of bed as fast as I could. It was Friday. I really was not looking forward to going to school. I groaned aloud and ran to my restroom to take a quick shower.

I wore my loose grey hoodie on top of my Bastille tee and put on black skinny jeans and floral vans. I quickly applied my concealer and foundation, later swiping on mascara. I ran out of the door with my hair still damp, which was a bad idea, since it was freezing out.

I could see my breath in front of me. I started to shiver and walk faster. I saw in the corner of my eye a black mustang pull up to the curb a ways ahead of me. I honestly had no idea who it was. Then I saw the door be pushed opened by someone inside of it, signaling me to get in.

I walked slow at first, then saw Luke. Ugh. I got in and closed the door.
"Hey."
"Buckle up."
"Since when do you care for me and my well-being?"
"Since when did you start taking showers?"
I glared at him. "Just drive Hemmings."

It was uncomfortably silent in the smokey scented vehicle. "Luke," I began. "Yup?" he said popping the 'p'. "Why did you do that to me at the mall?"
"Do what?"
"You know what 'what' I mean."
"Oh no, doesn't ring any bells."
"Dammit Lucas!" I yelled. He looked at me angrily.
"Don't c-" I stopped his stern words.
"NO. I'll do what I please. If you have a problem, I honestly give ZERO fucks about it." He didn't say anything, so I kept going. "Luke, you can't treat women the way you do. It's horrible, disrespectful, and cruel to what we stand for, now tell me why." I said a little calmer. He let out a breath as he made a turn. "Those girls would have ripped me apart if they saw me or recognized who I was, I'm sorry. I know it was wrong. I apologized, alright? Can we not talk about it?" he sighed and drove into the student parking lot. He then parked. Silence filled the car again. "Yeah, okay. See you first block." I said opening my door, walking to the entrance.

I noticed a few dirty looks here and there, coming from some girls I've seen canoodling with Luke before. I walked to my locker, unlocking it as fast as I could before one of them could approach me. I felt a presence on my side. Ah crap. The chick Luke was making out with that one time at lunch.
"Emily, right?" she sneered as she popped her Hubba Bubba Bubblegum.
I faked a smile towards her, "No actually it's Ellicity, you bleach-haired prick." I was already pissed that she was one of those people who didn't remember names.
"I really don't effing care for your name, just back off my boyfriend, American slut." she scoffed.
"Keep him, you two look great together, due to the well-known fact you both screw every moving thing in sight." I smiled at her blank face. "Have a nice day, blondie." I sassed. I slammed my locker, turning the other way to my class.
Well damn. I was so into that little ramble, I never noticed the crowd that had gathered. I shook off the stares and kept walking.

It was time for lunch and I arrived in the cafeteria early. I sat down at an empty table, then pulled out my cell.

To: Tess
Hey hurry up!!1!1! I'm starting to look like a loner at the table by myself..

To: Ell
Okay, just wait a minute. My teacher is lecturing us about how he dismisses us, not the bell -___-

To: Tess
I'm gonna leave if that Mr. Buckley is still yelling in five minutes.

To: Ell
I feel youu. I would if I were you, I think he's holding us after. #fml.

I sighed as we exchanged our goodbyes. I walked out, checking my Twitter feed.
"Luke5SOS is now following you."
I looked into him a little. I saw nearly over 50 pictures with what seemed as fans. He was a lot more famous than I interpreted. "Ugh okay. I'll follow back." I said to myself.

I put my phone away and started to wander the halls a bit. I sang to myself "Don't Stop Believing" by Journey. I sang the first half of the intro until..
"JUST A CITY BOY, BORN AND RAISED IN SOUTH DETROIT. HE TOOK THE MIDNIGHT TRAIN GOING ANYYYYYWHERE." I turned around, horrified by the loud singing. "Hemmings, don't you need to be somewhere?" I scoffed. "No," he wasn't finished, I could tell. "No where else but here." he smiled. "Oh stop." I couldn't help but smile too.

He looked down as he scratched the back of his neck. "Hey do you wanna get out of here?" He sounded shy for the first time in forever. "Luke Hemmings wants to skip class for a girl? This isn't new." I laughed. "Not like that, Ellicity. Can I take you out for lunch? You clearly didn't eat, and neither did I." Is Lucas asking me on a date? "Alright, Yeah. Why not?" He smiled, taking my hand. "Let's go."
