"Em! Look it's Markiplier!"

My jaw was basically on the floor. All these people, we're here to see Mark. Let's not forget Bob and Wade of course. But, I was sort of surprised but at the same time I wasn't. He had character, he seemed happy and had this like strange but nice charm to him. I can't believe he was Internet famous. And that I had just met him like not even ten minutes ago. "Hello everybody! My name is..." He pointed his mic at the crowd of mostly teenagers. They all seemed to respond by loudly screaming "Markiplier!" right back at him. I chuckled after I got my damn hearing back. Mark looked out onto the crowd, he didn't notice I was there. Or at least I didn't think, I was behind some person dressed up in a box suit. "Um, Mark, are you aware that we have guest?" Wade interrupted Mark's silence. "I do, I do! I was just admiring all their adorable faces." Nice save, nice save. The whole crowd awed, and Mark smiled. "No, you just have no idea how to start the panel." Bob chimes in. "Im getting to it, stop making look bad in front of my," he flips his hand outward and talks like a teenage girl. "faaaaans." We all seemed to laugh or chuckle. After we quiet down a bit he begins to talk again. "Okay, so what we normal do. Aside from telling Wade to shut up," the laughter sounded like the recorded kind that played in TV shows, but I was there to witness it. "We answer the questions you all are just dying to know the answers to, so ready, set, PUT YOUR HANDS UP IF YOU HAVE A QUESTION!" He yelled as he ran off the stage.

A lot of questions later Wade made it over to our side of the crowd. I rose my hand rather high, Amy looked at me like I just killed someone. Wade ran up to me and handed me the mic. "Thank you Wade." I said sweetly. I was actually good with public speaking. But I was so out of place and the pressure was being felt. "Okay Mark, this pretty lady has a question." He said, looking at Mark on stage. Mark laughed, "alright 'pretty lady' let's see you. Knowing Wade im expecting a guy dressed as a woman. But let's see you." He laughed. Wade grabbed my hand, leading me onto the stage. I stood beside Mark. He looked over at me and chuckled. "I already met her just like what was that, 20 minutes ago?" He asked me. "I'd say so." I said. "Alright Emberly," with that mention, my heart began to beat really fast. "What question do you have for me?" He asked sounding like Optimus Prime. "If someone wanted to get into video games how might you recommend doing that?" I asked, I honestly wanted to know. The convention has got me thinking. It's something I wouldn't mind doing again. "On a date with me." At this point I was blushing and dying on the inside. "I, um-" I didn't even know what I was going to say in response to this I was just like letting my mouth do the talking. "Im just kidding. It's okay." Mark laughed it off, but I was still freaking on the verge of death right in front of like hundreds of people.

Mark was fucking adorable. Okay, I'll admit it.

"But really, I think you should start with PC games if you have access to a computer because if you aren't as into games, enough to have your own gaming system you don't want to go and just buy one for the hell of it. Because then you might end up not even wanting to play them and then you gotta sell it. But I recommend Amnesia anAmnesia Custom Stories." He said, looking toward me as if the crowd wasn't even there. I nodded, "thanks, I'll try to." I said, still blushing from what he said before. I left the stage, going back to where I was standing with my sister.

After it was all said in done, my sister went to the next panel. I promised her I'd try the oculus rift later. She was sorta kinda mad about the whole meeting her freaking hero without her, I don't blame her. Just as I go to leave, Mark comes out. "How's your butt?" He asked using the microphone. I was actually confused for a second then I realized what the hell he met. "It's okay, a little sore. But I think it'll be alright." I said walking toward the stage smiling like an idiot. He was too, but the only difference was he pretty cute doing it. He looked down at me, the stage was probably three foot tall. "So were you serious about getting into video games?" He asked, "honestly, yeah. This convention really like showed me how like accepting and cool this stuff was. I'd love to be part of this kind of stuff." I said, I was being honest. I came into this convention with a closed mind, I'll admit. But it sort of caught my interest a bit. "Well, mind coming with me, for the rest of the convention? I mean, I don't wanna impose on you and your sisters time together and all that stuff." He said as he walked down the set of stairs and to where I was standing. I could tell he was nervous. "No man, that'd be awesome. And, she likes to do a lot of things by herself. She's sort of mad I met you without her. But I think we can do that. What do got in mind?" I asked, I was actually curious. I mean, not only were there displays and meet and greets here but I saw a lot of booths where you could do things and try them. "First, I think a good experience for you would be a good thing for you. Plus I gotta stop by there anyway I promised the developer I would." He said, he looked like happy to be doing this with me. I hoped I wasn't burdening him. I was actually really nervous. I don't know what any of this stuff is. It was all new territory for me. "Sounds cool to me, but I want you to know before I completely and utterly fail and embarrass myself that I have like not touched gaming systems in like years. Just making that clear." I giggled softly at the end of it. "See, that's where you need to change your mind set," I looked over at him confused as we sat on the edge of the stage. "We all started somewhere, every youtube person, man, woman, and young kid at this convention. Playing video games is something you get better at with time. Like, some of us started years ago then there's others who started two weeks ago. We all get that, to get to a place where you are remotely good you gotta put some time into it and what better way to do it than with the most pro video game loving nerdy but handsome guy here?" He pointed to himself, sarcastically talking in a cocky tone. I chuckled, but I also considered what he said. And, it made sense. I shouldn't be so nervous about this. They all started somewhere. "I get it, and I'm not as nervous. I just know there's a lot of learning ahead of me because I know absolutely nothing about the stuff." I said, laying back onto the stage. He looked back at me, just staring then finally he broke the silence. "Don't think of it as learning. Let go, be yourself and have fun. Because playing video games isnt supposed to feel like work. It's supposed to bring you joy and be fun. I mean, well for me it is a job. But like, who wouldn't want a job where you get paid for doing what you love why also not wearing pants?! It's a win win situation!" He said excitedly. I sat up on my shoulders, "you're pretty alright Mark." I smiled, he looked back blushing. "You are too, shall we get going?" He asked. I nodded sitting all the way up and walking out with him.
