Chapter 11

After doing a few finishing touches around the bedroom we all went downstairs. I checked on the dinner and then the time. How on earth had we been busy from midday till eight in the evening I guess time really does fly!

"My mum just rang said that they are all on the way here" Willow informed.

"Okay dinner is ready in five, and they'll be hungry! Moises, Mateo you guys staying for dinner?" I asked

"Sure why not?" Moises said

"I'll tell mum" Mateo said and walked out to make the call.

I let Mateo, Moises and Willow rest and made Jaden help set the table up.

"Please?" Jaden begged

"Nope sorry" I replied

"Why not?"

"I don't like to sing when people will hear me"

"Then it'll just be me and you in the studio"

"You know that you count as one of the people right?"

"But I'm special"

"Don't push your luck" I ended with a short wink at him.

"If you don't sing on my track I'll...Er...I'll tickle you" Jaden improvised

"Very funny but it's still a no..."

Within a second his fingers were tickling my body and I couldn't breath.

"Stop"

"Not until you sing"

"La la la. Now stop PLEASE" I begged

"Fine, come with me then" he took my hand and dragged me along the hall.

"Guys watch the dinner" I yelled at the others who were just staring at us.

We walked into the studio. Jaden sat down and started setting up. He then turned around and stared at me.

"Yeah?" I asked, mistakenly with attitude.

"Well go into the booth"

"I don't know what I'm singing"

"Have you ever free styled?"

"Yes but-"

"Just go in there and sing what you feel"

I stood there staring at him, was he really asking me to free style let alone SING for him!?

"Ugh" Jaden stood up and then carried me over his shoulder and into the booth. When we got in he let me down and got me a stool and ended with one word.

"Sing" he then walked out with his signature walk.

I took a deep breath and just thought about today and just everything.

"The words you said broke my heart but now I found someone to fix it,

A new family, new leaf, new tree

Myself is what I'll be." I looked out the booth and Jaden was gesturing me to carry on.

"I found a place where I belong, what do you think of that. New friends family and faces and trust me I'll be going places"

I finished my part and didn't even wait for Jaden to release me I just walked out of the booth.

"That was good...for an amateur" he said and laughed

"Sorry but it's called pressure!? Give me two days and I'll have a verse and a much better one"

"Okay well do you wanna hear what you just recorded"
