Chapter 8

"Dinners ready!" I shouted. I heard the front door open and I exited the kitchen and entered the hallway.

"Hi Sophia" Jada called

"Hi, I wasn't expecting you home, let me set another plate for you, is Will coming?"

"No, sweetie he's not and okay thank you, it smells great"

We were all sitting at the dinner table and it was silent.

"Don't you think Soph cooks the best food?" Willow pointed out. I blushed a little and said thanks under my breath.

"Are you ready for tomorrow Sophia?" Jada asked.

"I think so, I have never really done or been to anything like this so I'm excited"

"She bought a dress and some heels so she can look almost as tall as me" Jaden teased.

I stuck my tongue out and he did a kissy face back; I focused back on finishing my food.

Once everyone had finished Jaden and Willow did the dishes. As I was walking upstairs I felt and heard my back click. I took a deep breath and carried on. I walked down the hallway, which seemed longer, and went into my bedroom. I picked out a hairband and tied my natural wavy hair into a slick ponytail.

I lay down on my bed for a bit and listened to some music.

A knock on the door woke me up

"Soph? Can I come in?" I heard Jadens voice

"Sure, what's up?"

"How's your back?"

"Fine"

"Are you sure?"

"Erm yeah" I said improvising

"Listen my mum said I had to come up here and explain that tomorrow when on the carpet you just follow my lead, I'll be next to you the whole time"

"Thanks" I smiled at him

"Also I will have to do some interviews which you will be included in and that is the same with Willow, it'll make more sense tomorrow I promise"

"I think I am going to sleep on that" I winked at him, my body was tired. "Oh and Jaden, thanks for helping me today, your like my little protector"

"I'm not little and I'll be anything you want me to be" he kissed me on the forehead and hugged me goodnight and then left my bedroom.

I woke up at 10am and blinked, I don't normally sleep in at this time I'm an early riser. I put a cardigan on and ran downstairs.

"I'm sorry, I woke up late" I came downstairs practically screaming.

I entered the dining room and the whole Smith family were eating breakfast including Trey. Jaden looked up and laughed slash choked on his water. Trey looked up smiled and looked down and the rest of the family looked shocked apart from Willow who shouted

"It's alright!" In response to my crazy screaming.

"I'll go and get dressed" I said leaving the room

"There's no point we need to get ready" Willow said "we had your breakfast ready, it's on the kitchen island"

"Thanks" I said and went into the kitchen I ate a bit of the food but I was too excited to eat it all.

"You ready to get ready?" Jaden came in bringing in some of the dishes.

"Yup" I smiled at him

"Don't forget at this event your my girlfriend" he winked at me

"Well you better look good otherwise we'll be having a break up on the carpet" I joked

"Ha ha" he looked a bit sad. I got up and kissed him on the cheek, he then pulled me into a hug.

"Ouch" I said under my breath

"Sorry"

"That's alright, I forgot"

He smiled "Well I'm going to get changed"

"Same" we left the kitchen together and as we were walking upstairs he explained to me how it all worked on the carpet. We stopped at his bedroom and finished our conversation in the hall. We then parted and I started to get ready.

"Willow" I yelled down the hallway

"Yeah" I heard

"You busy?"

"Kinda, why?"

"Need someone to do my dress up" I replied

"Jaden" I heard Willow call

"What?"

"Do Soph's dress"

"Whatever"

I saw him coming down the hall and I laughed he looked so bored.

"Jaden at your service" he said

"Aw thanks, do my zip please?"

"Sure" he exhaled deeply

"Soph?"

"Yup?"

"I don't mean to panic you but he left marks on your back, I'm talking pink hand prints"

"Umm" I didn't know how to reply

He finished the zip and I started my hair and makeup.

He sat there and watched.

"Soph, we need to go"

"Okay two secs" I did my lipgloss and stood up from my stool.

Walking down the stairs we saw Willow sitting on the couch

"What up Willow?" Jaden said

"Mum and dad have left and our car is outside!! Aww you guys look like a couple, let me take a picture" she got her phone out and took two photos a normal one and a silly one.

"Let's go" Jaden finalised and urged our backs towards the door.

In the car Jaden and Willow sat either side of me.

"You ready Soph?" Willow said smiling so hard it looked like her face was going to burst

"Yeah, I am"

"Don't forget about the after party" Willow reminded us. She then gave Jaden a funny look and carried on talking to me but everything she was saying pretty much blurred out.

"Soph?"

"Yeah" I noticed Willow waving her hand in my face

"We are here" she then jumped out and found Will and Jada

"It'll be alright" Jaden assured me

I felt like he could read my mind

"Thanks" I flashed him a smile

"That's the smile they're all wanna see now" he said and he took my hand

"Ready girlfriend?"

"Sure boyfriend" we got out of the car and made our way to the entrance.

When we reached the gate Jaden looked at the guard and said "Smith" and the guard opened the gates for us

"Thank you" I said. We found The rest of the family and then walked on to the carpet.
