My Bestfriend

Chapter 2

"Do you think that's the girl that mum and dad were talking about?"

"I don't know but she's sleeping so could you be a bit quieter Willow!?"

"Okay but I'm going to miss my favourite episode of The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air"

"Get over it! He is our dad he can reinact it for us!"

I opened my eyes and saw Jaden and Willow staring at me, Jaden smiled.

"I'm Sophia" I said, I saw that Jaden and Willow were about to introduce themselves so I sat up, as in to pay attention.

Jaden offered me some food but I turned it down. Willow jumped next to me and curled into a ball and was watching Fresh Prince.

"Give her some space Willow" Jaden said

"Actually I am just about to finish unpacking" I jumped up.

"Right" Jaden turned to Willow "Mum left a note saying that we had to help her unpack, so after you have finished watching that come up stairs"

"You don't have to spend your morning helping me unpack, honestly"

"Well I want to" he smiled

As we reached my bedroom I asked if he minded waiting outside so I could clean up, this secretly meant that I hadn't unpacked my underwear yet! I quickly unpacked them and put them in a drawer.

"Come in" I yelled.

"Entering", he answered, I laughed.

Whilst unpacking we talked, asked questions, messed around and got to know each other.

"Hm, what's this Sophia?"

"Okay one more thing nobody really calls me Sophia, mostly Soph" I smiled

"Got it! Anyways what is this?"

He started flipping through a book, he was smiling! I looked up and stared at the book he was holding, I realised what it was and attempted taking it off of him but I missed I stood up and he still held on to the book.

"You play music?"

"Maybe" I answered. As I stepped forward to reach for my book and put it in a safe place, I tripped, Jaden threw my book across the room and caught me, his hands wrapped around my waist.

"Are you okay?" he asked

"Er, my ankle sort of hurts" I answered, his hands still on my waist, he stood up and lifted me up into his arms, he hobbled to my bed and dropped me there.

"Wait there"

"Why? I was just about to run a marathon" I answered him sarcastically.

"Yeah, yeah" he said and smiled. In less than a minute he was upstairs with Willow and he had a pack of peas in his hands.

"Put this on your ankle for a few minutes and see how it is, me and Willow will do the last suitcase you just tell us where you want the stuff"

I couldn't ask them to unpack for me "No don't worry about unpacking that we'll do it after lunch" I said

Willow smiled and skipped out of my bedroom, Jaden stayed for a few more minutes to keep me company.

"Okay, I think that the peas can return to the freezer" I said.

"Okay" he responded.

I limped behind Jaden, he offered to carry me but I refused. As we approached downstairs the doorbell rang. It startled me and I fell on my ankle again.
