Chapter 5

"So how did you enjoy your breakfast?" He asked me

"It was nice thank you" I replied, I smiled.

Jadens phone started buzzing.

He answered it.

"Yo Willow" he looked up and smiled

"Yup, we are on our way now"

He ended the call and turned to me

"You ready?" Jaden started to stand up

"Yep" I replied as I stood up my ankle went numb and I wobbled, Jaden caught my arm.

"You alright Humpty Dumpty?" He teased

"Let's go" I said walking in front of him.

**********************************We got into the car and strapped ourselves in. The car was silent, all you could hear was the engine.

"Music?" He offered

"Yes please" I replied smiling.

I chose a music station I was happy with and listened to the music, I sang for a bit and then closed my eyes and relaxed, I had the window down and felt the wind stroke my face.

"Hey, Soph? We're here?" I felt someone stroke my face.

"Can I have the house keys please" I heard Willow say

"Here, leave the door open so I can help Soph in"

"Okay"

I opened my eyes but everything was blurry, I must've fallen asleep, I rubbed my eyes a few times but I was way to tired to walk.

"Come on then" Jaden said, he lifted me over his shoulder and on to the floor. I wobbled

"Woah" Jaden said and caught me his hands around my waist "I got you"

He bent down and lifted my legs up and carried me inside bridal style, Jaden took me upstairs and lay me on my bed. I slept for a few more hours.

"AHHH" I woke up sweating.

I heard footsteps running up the stairs. Willow came running into my bedroom.

"What's wrong!?"

I started choking on my tears which was able to stop me talking.

"JADEN!" Willow called "Listen Soph, Jaden is outside I'm gonna run and get him"

Between my choking I was trying to tell her that I was fine and didn't need Jaden but she gave me a look of worry and ran.

"Soph! Soph!" I heard Jaden calling as he came up the stairs

"Yeah" I managed

He sat at the end of my bed and pulled me into a hug.

"What happened?"

"Nothing" I replied

"Oh so that's why your crying" he said sarcastically, I freed my hand and felt my cheeks, I was crying?

Desperate to change the subject

"What's the time?" I asked

"Time that we went downstairs" he declared, as we were walking downstairs Jaden turned to me

"So...I guess I can't trust you to leave my sight" he smiled at me and wrapped his left arm around my shoulder I titled and rested my head in his neck.

"Are you a couple!?" Willow screamed as she met us at the bottom of the staircase. She smiled widely.

"No" Jaden and I said simultaneously

"I should go" I said removing my head, I walked off into the studio and locked the door for good measure.

**********************************After writing a new song I realised I didn't ring my mum last night.

I unlocked the studio door and went outside, I used the house phone and dialled.

"Hello"

"Hi mum, sorry I didn't ring last night I was really tired."

"That's alright sweet, are you okay and having fun?"

"Yup"

"Okay, well um, I'm gonna go"

"Okay, love you"

"Love you too"

I hung up the phone and made my way to my bedroom.

I opened the door and looked through my wardrobe, I was looking for my skateboard as I heard there was a really good skate lab round here.

I walked downstairs and was about to walk out the door when Willow stepped in front of me.

"Where you going?"

"Out skateboarding" I replied easily.

"Oh cool, you going with Jaden?" She asked

"No" I replied confused "I didn't know Jaden skated"

"Oh well he does, still gonna go on your own?"

"What's happening ladies?" Jaden greeted us. There was a silence, all three of us became really awkward.

"I'm gonna go" I said breaking the silence. I smiled innocently and walked out the door.

When I got into the skate lab I started skating, this is possibly the only physical activity I can do without injuring myself in someway, oh and swimming.

As I took a break I went to go get my water I left on the bench, I bought it on the way.

As I found it, I heard someone say "Look at who it is!" I turned my head to the direction the boys were looking at. I saw Jaden walk through the door with Mateo and Moises walking by his side. I sighed and shook my head laughing. I picked up my board and started to walk out of the skate lab, if I was being honest I came here to breath for a bit, I was still a bit upset from what happened last night. I was on my way out when a hand reached out across my stomach. "Where you going?"

"Home, I'm tired" I improvised

"Is everything alright?" He asked concern ran across his face.

"Yeah" something flew into my eyes and I rubbed them, they were stinging

"Are you crying?" Mateo asked

"No something flew into my eye!"

"Group hug" Jaden shouted the next thing I new I was in between Jaden Moises and Mateo.

"Guys, I'm claustrophobic" I screamed

"I'm so sorry" they all said in unison. I burst into laughter and finished off by saying "JOKE, see you at home"

"Not funny" Jaden said and then kissed my forehead "See you at home" there was a sudden flash, like a camera flash but I ignored it and said goodbye to Mateo and Moises and started my walk home but I decided to skate home.
