Chapter 12

I woke up in a dark room.

"You alright?" Someone asked

"Yeah, who is this?" I replied

"Good, Teo"

I exhaled slowly "where are we?"

I asked.

He turned the lamp on. My sight restored. We were in a small room which had a total of three beds I was in one of them and Mateo was in one of the ones opposite me.

"We are in a bed and breakfast!"

"Because..." I urged him to go on

"We were all falling asleep in the car and it's better to be safe than sorry"

"Fair enough, do Jada and Will know?"

"Yeah"

"Okay, where's Jaden?" I realised he wasn't there.

"He's outside talking to Jada"

"Oh, how long have we been here?"

"Only half an hour"

At that moment Jaden walked in.

"Morning" he looked up from his phone and smiled at me

"Morning" I replied

"So we're gonna crash here for the night and then we plan leaving first thing in the morning" he informed me.

"Well I honestly think that I've got enough sleep, I'll just drive us home now" I said. The boys exchanged glances. I stood up and put my shoes on. I saw the keys by the bedside table which lay in between mateos and Jadens bed. I walked over and Jaden held me by my waist.

"Are you sure?" He questioned me

"I promise if I get tired I'll stop at the next motel" I said to him. I then pushed passed him and picked up the keys.

"Hurry up boys, the earlier we get home the better" I clapped my hands to show action as they just stared at me.

We finally got into the car I was in the drivers seat Mateo was in the passengers and Jaden was in the back.

"How long do you think we'll have left?" Mateo questioned

"I would say ten minutes minimum" I answered "Do you want me to drop you home or you gonna stay with us" I offered.

Mateo looked behind him at Jaden who had laid himself across all the back seats asleep. He then looked at me and smiled.

"I think I'll stay with you make sure you get home alright with sleepy in the back" I laughed at his comment. I looked at Jaden through the rear view mirror and smiled. It went all silent in the car so I reached out to turn on the radio, the music was nice I had it at a level where it was quite but still loud enough to hear, like background music.

"Hey could you wake Jaden up please?" I asked Mateo.

"Sure" he answered then turned his head towards him "Yo Sleepy!?"

"Ah" Jaden woke up in a hurry, looking confused. Mateo and I burst into laughter.

"Can you please ring your parents and tell them that we will be home in a few minutes, I just want to stop by the supermarket"

"Um sure" Jaden said patting his pockets for his phone, he looked down to his left and saw his phone and picked it up. He dialled it silently and I turned the music off, I then turned into the 24/7 supermarket and parked the car.

"If I'm not back in five come get me" I said imitating how they do in the films. They didn't get my humour, instead they just looked at me and nodded. Jaden then started talking into his phone.

"Hey Willow, pass me onto dad"

I then grabbed my purse and walked into the market.

I picked up three bottled waters and was heading towards the check out when someone spun me around by wrist.

I looked up and gasped and somehow held my breath, it was him.

"I'm sorry, okay, these last few weeks I have been a terrible person to you"

I escaped his grasp on my wrist and slowly backed away. He didn't retaliate. I paid for the waters and made my way outside. Mateo and Jaden looked up at me. Jaden ducked his head out of the window and Mateo's jaw dropped wide open.

"Soph move!" Jaden shouted at me.

I didn't know if I heard him right. Then almost in slow motion Jaden and Mateo jumped out of the car and came running towards me. Only for them to be to late. I looked to my left and saw

Ryan drive up in a range rover and hit me with the car. And suddenly I saw black and heard nothing...
