Chapter 14

I woke up in my new bedroom and sighed. It had been six weeks now since everything happened it had also been six weeks since I had seen Jaden last!

Mateo didn't say much apart from "patience is the key". What does that even mean.

I haven't been out for the whole six weeks and when I tried going to see Jaden; Willow, Moises and Mateo stopped me.

Willow comes round everyday to talk to me, Moises and Mateo make me play on the Xbox with them and then Moises would go out to get food so me and Mateo would make up random beats and weird lyrics to go along with them.

"Hey" willow came walking through the door with a smile on her face just as she had done yesterday and the day before and the day before that and so on.

"Can I go?" I asked

"Go where?" She quickly defended

I shrugged "at least out of this house and back to yours so I can get some of my stuff especially if I'm going to be here longer"

She looked deeply and intently into my face, she then sighed grabbed my hand and guided me downstairs.

"Boys?" Willow shouted once we reached the bottom step.

"What up Willow?" Moises greeted Mateo was following behind him smiling.

"Morning ladies"

"I think it's time" willow announced

"But she's not ready!"

"Guys, she has been closed in for too long it's not good for her"

"I am here" I felt I should add. They ignored me and kept on arguing. I slowly backed out of the room and picked up mateos car keys. And walked out the house. I ran to the car, got in and started the engine, I backed out of the driveway and made my way towards home.

I drove into the driveway and turned the engine off. I walked towards the door and rung the doorbell, I can't believe I left the house keys at Moises!

"Hello" Jaden opened the door, I felt a smile spread across my face but his face shut down. His eyes closed and he walked back into the house leaving the door wide open, I followed him in closing the doors behind me.

When I had completely welcomed myself back in the familiar surroundings I saw Jaden on the phone.

"Get her out of here" he was saying firmly "I can't upset her anymore".

I walked round the corner so we were in the same room, for a millisecond I met his eye and he immediately looked down.

"Hey" I said, trying to start conversation "are you going to tell me what's going on or am I going to have to guess?" I questioned

"I'm sorry" he said he then looked up and stared into my eyes.

"What for!?"

"You mean Willow and the boys didn't tell you?"

"Uhh no...is there something I'm supposed to know?"

"I'm gonna kill them!" He screamed under his breath.

"So are you going to tell me or am I going to guess?"

He then walked up to me and grabbed my hands. "I'm sorry, really" he then looked down and started which I guess was going to be a speech.

"On the night of...everything I had your phone. Your parents were texting you and I was texting them back for you" I stepped back a bit and then thought about this "so you think I'd be angry because you read my text? I mean sure I'm annoyed but-"

"I knew Ryan was at the station" he confessed. I stared at him and felt my jaw drop. He shook his head.

"I mean I told him but I didn't think he would turn up" I held my anger back

"So you're basically saying to me that I was in hospital because of your foolishness!? So instead of being a man and saying it to my face you decide to send me off to your friends house for 6WEEKS!? Because you felt that THAT would be enough"

"I never meant to hurt you"

"But you did, and not just emotionally, physically! You didn't even have the guts to come and see me at the hospital".

"I know and-"

"But there's no 'and' about it!! You need to stop making excuses, stop sending me away and move on! What's done is done and you can't change anything so just leave it" I exited the now silent room, and walked towards my bedroom. It felt weird knowing that I haven't been here for six weeks but been somewhere else.

My phone rang and I answered.

"Oh hey Willow" I spoke

She asked me questions on how I managed to slip out and when will I be giving the keys back to Mateo, I laughed a bit there.

Right now all I wanted to do was to take everything in along with Nutella covered strawberries some watermelon and sleep.
