A/N:
Well this is the first update of 2015, yes I know I haven't updated in forever. I've been really busy with school and now with me in Driver's Ed I've barely have had any time with writing. I wanted to let everyone know that I'll at least try to update once a month if I can maybe more if I have time I never really know, don't forget to vote and comment.

It didn't take Cameron and I too long to get back to my house with us practically running, since my dad would be home from work soon. We kicked off our shoes at the front door before making our way into the kitchen. Noticing that we haven't eaten since breakfast this morning it had just dawned on me how hungry I was. Knowing Cameron he was probably the same way, since most high school boys eat a lot in general.
I made my way to the kitchen, pulling out a loaf of bread and lunch meat so we could probably just make sandwiches when my phone started to ring. It was weird that someone would be calling me right now unless it was my parents. I took my phone out of my pocket seeing that it was Hunter who was calling which was even weirder because he never called me unless something bad was going on.
"Uhh you can get going on making the sandwiches Cameron, I really need to take this," I say going into the hallway and answer the call. "Hunter?" I question him as I answered the phone.
"Where are you today Jordy?" Hunter just asked, no 'how are you' or anything like that.
"I'm at home."
"Well you should have came to school today, they picked people for prom court and you and I were picked which is a little bit weird. The weirder thing is that Luke and Annabeth are also on prom court so have fun with those too."
"Wait what? You and me were picked together for prom court?"
"Yep you and me, I thought it was weird too I was more expecting you and Cameron not me and you."
"What's going on with Annabeth and Luke? How the heck did they get picked together?"
The other side of the phone went silent for a second before a response came from Hunter. "They're the new power couple.. Annabeth and Luke are dating now Jordy.."
I couldn't believe this Luke and Annabeth were fucking dating, my best friend is now dating my ex-boyfriend. Just hearing all of this gave me mixed emotions, I was pissed, jealous and just felt like going and crying. He wanted me back and not long after giving up on me he just moves on to Annabeth. How the hell could she even do that to me? She hated Luke when we were dating I guess.
"Are you okay Jordy?" Hunter asked pulling me out of my thoughts.
"No I'm not okay why would I be okay?"
"I don't know, we'll beat them don't worry Jordy we got this in the bag." Hunter said in excitement. I didn't believe Hunter at all really but what the hell we could try our best. "I know what will get you to work even harder to show Luke and Annabeth both that you're better than both of them."
"And how is that?"
"Well Luke didn't know before that I was talking with you still until today and he told me that the girl he cheated on you with was Annabeth, that's why she's been so distant from you."
"Are you fucking serious?!" I was pissed now and knew that I would have to win prom queen just to show Annabeth that I'm better than her and show Luke what's he's lost now. "We're gonna win this Hunter, I'm not losing to those two assholes."
"That's my girl, okay now I'll come by after school and I'll bring you up to date on everything."
"Okay I'll talk to you then if anything else happens please text me."
"Okay I can do that," he said before hanging up the phone.
I shoved my phone back into my pocket before walking back into the kitchen to see Cameron just making the sandwiches still.
"So who are these two assholes?" Cam asked, looking up from the sandwich he was making and to me.
"Annabeth and Luke, they're dating now."
"Wait are you serious? Those two are dating?"
"Yeah that's what Hunter just told me."
"Oh.. I'm sorry that must suck with those two dating."
"No it's fine I'll get revenge sooner or later. Maybe karma will go and bite them both in the ass."
Cameron couldn't help himself but laugh at that last part, "Now you'd just love that wouldn't you?"
"Yes I would but they'll get what they deserve."
"So what else did you and Hunter talk about?" he asked.
"Well he told me that Annabeth and Luke are on prom court, I'm also on prom court too but I'm with Hunter which is weird. I thought that it'd be me and you."
Cameron just gave me a weird look, "Why would you think people would vote for me Jordy? I'm not prom court material."
"I just thought.."
"Thought what just because we're friends and everything that I'm just popular now? Jordy I'm still the same damn person I was before we met and I don't want to be popular or on prom court anyways."
I bit my lip just staring at him. "Cam that's not what I thought.. you know what just forget it," I say sitting on a stool moving the ingrediants for my sandwich towards me in silence.
We both just ate out sandwiches in silence, there was just so much tension in the room you could cut it with a knife. I could tell that Cam was just pissed off at me now he just jumped to conclusions that weren't even right so I don't thin he needs to be mad about any of this.
After we got done eating our sandwiches I started putting everything away as Cameron just leaned against the counter watching me before he started to talk. "Hey Jordy I think I'm gonna go, we both need to cool off and you need to take care of things with Hunter and everything so I'll just talk to you later." He said before leaving the kitchen going and getting his shoes before leaving.
I didn't want him to leave but maybe he was right, we both are getting on each other's nerves a little bit but what friends don't get on each other's nerves every once in awhile. I needed time by myself anyways so that I could prepare myself so when Hunter comes over after school and dealing with my parents.
