THE SHIRE
Grace is now much older and is walking through the meadow and looking at all the trees, she just loves living here. She looks straight foward and she sees Frodo Baggins, her best friend sitting against a tree reading a book so she starts to shout. "Frodo!!" Frodo looks up and sees Grace and smiles and waves her to come this way and she does and finally she sits down next to him. "What are you reading" Frodo chuckles "Nothing special" she nudges him with her shoulder "Come on you can tell me" Frodo smiles "It's just something Bilbo gave to me" Grace smiles "That's sweet and by the way how is Bilbo? Is he exicted for his birthday?" "Ehh..." But Frodo Stops talking and hears a familar voice and he stands up and so does Grace. "Frodo what's going on?" Frodo turns to her and smiles and takes her hand "Come on" and they run. Grace is so confused and have no idea what's going on until her and Frodo pull up to the end of the hill and see who it is.
"Gandalf" she whispers. "You're late" Frodo states. Gandalf who has been looking down looks up at them. "A wizard is never late, Frodo Baggins and Grace Gamgee. Nor is he early. He arrives precisely when he means to" there is a short silence until everyone starts laughing and Frodo jumps into the carriage and hugs Gandalf and Shortly after Grace jumps into the carriage and sits next to Frodo. Before he starts the Carriage again he turns to Grace "Grace, how is the family, your parents and siblings well?" Grace smiles "Everyone is very well" "Splendid" Gandalf starts the carriage and they're off. "What's news of the outside world, tell us everything?" "Everything? Even you miss Grace?" Grace nods. Gandal chuckles "Far to eager and curious for being hobbits. Most unatural. Well, what can i tell you? Life in the wide world goes on much as it has this past age. Full of it's own coming and goings. Scarcely even aware of the existence of the hobbits. For which i am very thankful. They were now driving through were Bilbo's 111th birthday party is gonna be. "Well how is the old rascal. I hear it's going to be a party of special magnificence" Frodo chuckles "You know Bilbo, He's got the whole place in an uproar" "Oh well that should please him" "Half of the shire has been invited" Grace puts in. "Well, gracious me" Grace jumps down "It's was nice to see you Gandalf and i will see you later Frodo" "So am i dear miss" Grace smiles and walks back home.
Grace is now back at the Gamgee house "Mom, Dad, Hamson, Halfred, Daisy, May, Marigold, Sam?" but no one answers so Grace goes to the windows and outside in the gardens she sees none other than her twin, Samwise. Grace walks out to the Gardens, to Sam. "Of course you're out here" Sam turns to his sister and smiles "Well i am a Gardener" Grace chuckles "Come on we need to get ready for the party so get inside" Sam sighes and they walk inside"
Now Grace and Sam are at the party and there are fireworks and lots of dancing. Grace is dancing with Frodo when she turns and sees Sam sitting by looking at a table looking at a hobbit named rosie, a girl that both Grace and Frodo knows Sam has had a crush on for a while. Grace nudges Frodo's shoulder so he turns to her and she points at Sam and Frodo understands what's going on so Grace and Frodo walks up to Sam and sit next to him. "Go on Sam. Ask Rosie for a dance" "Uhh.. I just think i'll have another ale". Grace stands up just as Sam starts to walk away "No you don't" Grace pushes Sam towards Rosie and they start dancing. Grace and Frodo Laughs and sits down next to Frodo. She sighes "Finally. He can never do the first move" "So Grace, is it someone special you fancy?" Grace now gets nervous and looks at Frodo but she can't say it "Umm..." in that moment a big firework is thrown out in the sky and saves Grace from Humiliation. Everything is fine until out of nowhere the biggest firework comes out and turns to a dragon and it's fun until it turns back and everyone is running but no one gets hurt and all looks up at the sky and it turns into something beautiful. Grace turns and sees that Gandalf has put Merry and Pippin on cleaning dishes duty, Grace should have understood. Now it's time for Bilbo's speech that everyone has been waiting for. "My dear Baggines and Boffuns, Tooks and Brandybucks, Grubbs, Chubbs, Hornblowers, Bolgers, Bracegirdliers, Proudfoots and Gamgees. Today is my 111th birthday! And alas, eleventy-one years is far too short a time to live among such excellent and admirable hobbits. I don't know half of of you half as well as i should like and i like less than half of you half as well as you deserve." Things gets awkward and Grace could tell something is going on with Bilbo "I ha-have things to do." Bilbo pulls out something out of his pocket and takes it behind his back. "I've put this off far too long" Grace looks at Frodo because she sees this is troubling him. "I regret to announce this is the end. I'm going now and i bid you all a very fond farewell." Grace like everyone is confused what he is talking about. "Goodbye" With that Bilbo Vanishes like magic. What is going on?
