The fellowship has now started their journey. They are traveling by walking, they don't want anyone of sauron's army to notice them. "We must hold this course, west of the Misty Mountains for 40 days. If our luck holds, the gap of Rohan will still be open to us. From there our road turns east to Mordor" Gandalf tells them.
They have now stopped for a lunch break. Yérena is watching Boromir helping Pippin and Merry fight with their swords. She smiles, She knows Boromir can be stubborn but he really has a good heart.
Galadhien is standing beside Legolas scouting. Legolas sighes "I saw you didn't say goodbye to your father why?" Galadhien sighes "It's a long story but let's just say that he hid something for me. Something i deserved to know so i'm kinda pissed at him right now" Legolas chuckles"I see" Galadhien smiles "I will tell you everything i promise" Legolas smiles and looks at her "I know" Suddenly Legolas sees something runs the other side and Galadhien follows him. "Legolas what do you see?" But he doesn't say anything so she follows his gaze and suddenly they see something dark coming towards them.
"What is that?" Grace asks. Gimli chuckles "Nothing. It's just a wisp of cloud." Yérena stands up beside Boromir looking at it. "It's moving fast against the wind" Galadhien Gasps "Crebain from Dunland" She shouts and everyone hide. Luckly they take cover just in time and the birds fly away, not seeing them. They all stand up. Gandalf sighes " spies of Saruman. The passage of south is being watched" Yérena hearing that her father still works for Sauron she looks down and Boromir puts her hand on her shoulder for comfort. She looks up at him and smiles. Gandalf looks back at everyone "We must take the pass of Caradhras" He tells them.
They are now walking in the snow. Galadhien is walking behind Frodo and Aragorn. Yérena walks beside Boromir. When Suddenly Frodo falls down the pile of snow. Aragorn and Galadhien helps him up. Yérena turns and sees that Boromir has stopped walking and picked up something, the ring. Yérena rushes to walk up to Boromir and take a hold of his arm so he looks at her and not the ring. "Boromir. Give the ring to Frodo" Boromir nods to her as if he's been in a trance. Boromir walks down to Frodo and gives him the ring. Boromir walks up to Yérena and smiles but she just shakes her head and continue walking.
They are now on edge of the mountain. It's really snowy and the storm is really big. Aragorn is carrying Grace and Frodo, Galadhiel is carrying Sam and Boromir is carrying Merry and Pippin. Legolas is at the front of the group. "There is a fell voice on the air" Yérena sighes because she knows what it means. "It's Saruman" Gandalf shouts and rocks comes from the mountain so they protect themselves.
But Yéreana trips and falls so she is holding onto the edge of the mountian. "Boromir!" She screams. Boromir gasps and gives Merry and Pippin to Galadhien. Boromir runs to her and takes a grip on her arms "Hold tight Yéreana" Boromir drags her up and luckily she is unharmed and falls into Boromir's arms. "Yéreana are you alright?" Yéreana looks up at him and smiles "Yes, Thank you" She says out of breath. Boromir sighes happily hugging her and kisses her on the forehad "I thought i lost you"
Aragorn turns to Gandalf "We must turn back. We almost lost Yéreana" "No" Gandalf shouts and keep going and try to chant a spell to stop Saruman but Saruman keeps going. So Yéreana looks at Gandalf knowing she needs to say something. "Gandalf please we need to go back. My father will not stop" Gandalf sighes "Let the ring-bearer decide, Frodo?" Frodo sighes "We will go through the mines" Gandalf is afraid because he knows what's lurking under the mountains. "So be it"
They have now arrived to the walls of Moria. Yéreana walks beside Boromir, still shaken up. Boromir looks at her "Are you Alright?" Yérena shrugs "I don't know. I know my father could see us so i know he saw me falling almost to my death. He was ready to sacrifce his only child, me." Boromir sighes "He is a different man now" Yérena sighes "Yeah i guess so"
They are now by the entrance to Moria which is close to a big lake. Grace sees that Frodo is nervous so she takes a hold of his hand and smiles at him.
Gandalf goes up to the entrance. "Ithildin" He whispers. "It mirrors only starlight and moonlight" and suddenly the moon shows up which makes the door to Moria lighten up and a text shows up. "It reads, The doors of Durin, lord of Moria. Speak, friend and enter." Merry is confused "What do you suppose that means" He asks. Gandalf chuckles "Oh it's quite simple. If you're a friend you speak the password and the doors will open" Gandalf puts the tip of his staff against the door and starts chanting. "Anno edhellen, edro hi ammen" But nothing happens.
Gandalf keeps chanting but still nothing is happening so everyone else is sitting by the water waiting. Sam and Aragorn stands beside the horse that Sam has grown fond of. Grace walks up to him and gives Sam's hand a squeeze in comfort. "Mines is no plane for a pony. Even one as brave as Bill" Aragorn tells Sam. "Buh-bye Bill" Grace smiles at her brother, still holding his hand. Aragorn makes the horse go the way back to Rivendell. Grace nudges her brother "Don't worry. He knows the way home" Sam looks at her and nods and they walk back to the companions.
Merryn and Pippin are throwing rocks into the water. Galadhien relaises it's not a good idea so she goes up to them to stop them. She takes a hold of Pippin to stop him. "Don't disturb the water" But it's too late something is moving in the water. Frodo who relaises what the text means turns to Gandalf "What's the elvish word for friend?" "Mellon" Gandalf answers and the door opens.
They all walk in and they look around and they relaises it's very quiet. Yérena looks down and sees the floor is filled with corpses. "This is not a mine. It's a tomb" "NO!" Gimli cries out. Galadhien takes out a arrow that was in one of the dwarf corpses and she realises it's bad. "Goblins" Galadhien, Boromir, Aragorn, Legolas and Yérena get ready for battle. "We make for the gap of Rohan. We should never have come here"
The hobbits are walking backwards until suddenly Grace feel something around her foot and she is dragged to the water by a sea monster. "Grace!"" the hobbits shouts and they try to help her. Sam terrifed turns and shouts "Strider" Aragorn sees what's going on and run out to help them. "Help" Grace screams. "Get off her" Sam shouts and tries to cut the monster's tentacle which works. But not long after the monster comes back with all it's tentactles and takes Grace who's screaming. The beast is holding her above the water. "Grace!" Frodo shouts. Everyone is attacking the monster for it to let Grace go. Before the beast is gonna swallow Grace whole, Aragorn cuts off the tentacle that is holding Grace and she falls into Aragorn's arms. "Into the mines" Gandalf shouts and everyone run inside before the beast can get them so but the entrance falls down and now they definitely can't get out that way. Aragorn let Grace down and she runs into Sam's arms. Sam hugs her so tightly. "Grace. Don't do that to me ever again" Grace nods and just thankful to be in her brother's arms. She looks at Aragorn smiling and whispers "Thank you" and Aragorn nods. Now they really are stuck in the mines.
a new chapter and both Yérena and Grace has already went through something traumatic. I hope you like this chapter and please tell me your thoughts.
