Yéreana was sitting on her bed, had just woken up from a nap when her father walks in. "Have you been sleeping?" Yéreana looks at him with a look that could kill. She scoffs "What do you think? What else am i supposed to do" Saruman chuckles "I see" Yéreana looks at her father with now tears in her eyes "I was dreaming about mom" Saruman looks at her with wide eyes. "What?" Yéreana swipe away the tears that had fallen down. "She was brushing my hair as she always did. She told me she loved me and one day that Isengard will be mine" Yéreana chuckles "She just didn't know what you would do and it got me thinking" Saruman sighes "What?" Yéreana looks at him with deadly eyes "That i wish she was here instead of you" Saruman looks at her without saying anything and she just shakes her head "Just leave me alone" and She lays down on her side so she doesn't have to look at him. Saruman sighes and walks out.
Joanna was standing with her father on the hill. He turns to her "No parent should have to bury their child" Joanna nods and feel herself tearing up but in that moment she sees her father is sobbing and takes him into her arms and sighes. "He loved you, he loved us. He was strong in life and one day we will meet him again" Théoden looks up at his daughter and smiles "I love you my dear and you will become a great queen i know it" Joanna smiles "Thank you father" They start walking back to the castle when Joanna hears something and turns around to see what it is and sees a horse coming which is ridden by two children when she sees the boy falling down off the horse. She gasps.
They are now back in the Castle and the children has been given food and warm clothes. Joanna stands up to look at her father who sits on the throne "They had no warning. They were unarmed just like Dérowyn's village was. Now, the wildmen are moving through the westfold burning as they go" The little girl turns to Joanna who putting a blanket on her shoulders "Where is mama?" Joanna looks at her "Shhh" Gandalf turns to Théoden "This is but a taste of the terror that Saruman will unleash. All more potent for he is now driven of fear by Sauron, Ride out and meet him head on. Draw away him from your women and children. You must fight" Galadhien stands up "Excuse me" She walks out. Legolas turns to Aragorn "I will speak with her" Aragorn nods and Legolas walks out.
Aragorn turns to look at Théoden "You have 2000 good men riding north as we speak. Eomer is loyal to you. His men will return and fight for their king" Théoden sighes and stands up from his throne "They will be 300 leagues from here by now" Théoden looks at Joanna and Éowyn who is standing by the children. He sighes "Eomer cannot help us" Gandalf takes a step towards Théoden but he stops him "I know what it is you want from me but i will not bring further death to my people, I will not risk open war" Joanna sighes and walks up to her father "Father if i may speak" Théoden looks at his daughter "You may my dear" Joanna nods "Father i agree with them. We need to fight and if i had known that day Dérowyn died and i would had marched down there and maybe she would still be here" Théoden sighes "I'm sorry my dear but i have already lost your brother, i can't lose you too" Joanna sighes "But father" But Théoden stops her "No! When you're queen you get decide but i am still king and you will do as i say" Joanna sighes and nods. Aragorn looks at them "Open war is upon you. Whether you would risk it or not" Joanna sighes. Théoden turns and walks up to Aragorn "When last i looked Théoden, not Aragorn was king of Rohan" Gandalf walks up to Théoden "And what the king's decision?" Théoden looks at Gandalf "Empty the city"
Galadhien is outside standing by the hill when Legolas finds her. Galadhien feels his presence without looking at him "You found me" Legolas chuckles "I always do" Legolas walks up to her "Why did you run out" Galadhien sighes "I will tell you if i can ask you one question" Legolas smiles "Okay" Galadhien sighes and looks at him "If you loved me why did you leave me. If you still love me why did you end it?" Legolas sighes "Because..." He takes a deep breath "Because as you know my sister had just been killed and i was in a really dark place" Galadhien nods "I know" Legolas sighes "If i had been there in time i could've saved her and she would still be alive" Galadhien feel a tear falling down her cheek. "So after she died and i left Mirkwood i went to look after Aragorn as you know and it got me thinking that i could'nt bear losing you like that so i decided to push away and i'm sorry" Galadhien smiles and takes a hold of Legolas hands and squeezes them "I know you feel like you could've done something but listen to me there's not you could've done. I know that because i was there. Me and your sister were fighting off orcs when three orcs came up and two of them took a hold of your sister and the last one was pushing me down to the ground by my head and made me watch as they stabbing your sister when they let her go and she fell to the ground i forced myself up and killed the orcs and i ran to your sister and in that moment you ran in" Legolas starts tearing up and Galadhien brings him into a hug "It wasn't your fault" She whispers. Legolas pulls away "Now can you tell me why you ran out"
Galadhien sighes and pulls out the necklace "You know that i told you that when we're leaving Rivendell i wasn't at the best terms with my father" Legolas nods "Yes and you told me you would tell me later" Galadhien nods "Well when my father told me that i was found in the woods he at the same time told me they couldn't find anything in the woods to find my parents. Which at the time was hard to hear but i accepted it. You see my father lied. They did find something that was belonged to my mother, this" Galadhien shows Legolas the necklace "He just decided not to share it with me." Legolas looks at her "How are you sure this is your mother's" Galadhien smiles "Because when they found me i was wearing an exact replica of that necklace" Galadhien takes a deep breath "The reason i ran out is because when we were in Lothorien my Grandmother told me that i would find answers here in Rohan so when i was looking at the king i was wondering if he knows something but i don't know and the talk about Saruman made me think about Yéreana and that we haven't saved her yet" Galadhien starts crying so Legolas takes her into his arms "Hey hey. It's okay we will save Yéreana and i will help you find answers about your birth mother" Galadhien looks up at him "You would do that?" Legolas smiles "Of course" Galadhien smiles "You know i never stopped loving you either" Legolas smiles and they both lean in but before anything happen they are interrupted by commotion comming from the city. They pull away and looks at eachother "Let's go" and they run up to see what's going on.
They find the others in the stable "Aragorn what's going on?" Aragorn turns around and sees Legolas and Galadhien "Thank god you guys are here. The king doesn't want to fight so he sending his people into hiding" Galadhien sighes. Gandalf rides out to find Eomer and his men. Galadhien can only hope he finds them.
