Grace, Sam and Frodo has now started their journey and are now walking through the country side of the Shire. Grace walks beside Frodo and Sam is a little behind them. They keep walking like that until they relaise Sam has stopped. "This it" They turn to look at Sam "This is what?" Grace asks him. "If i take one more step it will be the farthest away from home i've ever been" Grace smiles at her brother and Frodo walks up to Sam and gives him a pat on the shoulder "Come on Sam" So Sam hestitanly takes the step to continue. Frodo smiles at his friend "Remember what Bilbo used to say. It's a dangerous business, Frodo going out your door. You step onto the road and if you don't keep your feet, there is no knowing where you might be swept off to. They continue walking until they decide to set camp for the night.
It's the next day and they are continuing their journey. They are now walking through a cornfield. Sam is walking and realises he can't see Frodo and Grace and starts panicking and screaming their names. Grace and Frodo are walking but when they hear Sam sshouting for them and they run back to see what's going on. Sam is so relieved when he sees them "I thought i'd lost you" Grace and Frodo looks at him confused "What are you talking about?" Grace asks her brother. "It's just something Gandalf said. " Frodo sighes "What did he say?" "Don't you lose them Samwise Gamgee. And i don't meant to." Grace smiles at her brother "Sam we're still in the shire what can possibly happen"
But not long after She says that two people comes out of the field and knocks Sam and Frodo over. Luckly Grace was fine but she sees it's none other than Merry and Pippin. Grace pulls Pippin away from Frodo and just shakes her head. Merry stands up from Sam and gives him a few things until they relaises what it is. "You've been into Farmer Maggot's crop!" Sam yells at them until they hear Farmer coming and Merry pulls Grace into the field and Pippin do the same with Frodo. They start running "I don't understand why he is so upset. It's only a couple of carrots and some things more so he is totally overreacting" Grace shakes her head "You guys are idiots" Everyone is running until Pippin stops in his tracks making everyone fall down the hill.
They have fallen on eachother and Frodo gets up and pulls Grace up. Grace smiles "Thank you" Frodo nods. Sam, Merryn and Pippin sees some mushrooms so they run to eat. Grace looks down at the road and looks at Frodo. Frodo nods and turn to the other boys "I think we should get off the road" But they don't hear him until Frodo hears a terrible sound and screams "Get off the road quick"
They all run to hide behind a big tree. Grace is has worried as Frodo, the other boys keeps eating their mushrooms. That's until they hear someone with a horse coming, everyone gets quiet. The man gets down on his horse and makes all insects crawl on them and now Grace sees that Frodo has taken out the ring so she stops him before he can put it onto his finger. Merry throws something to make the man go after that and the moment he is gone they run.
They are more into the woods. "What was that?" Merryn asks Frodo but doesn't get any answer. They stay there all day until it gets dark. They start running without the scary man seeing them. "Anything?" Sam asks Frodo "Nothing" Pippin walks out of breath "What's going on" Grace sighes. Merry walks up to Frodo "The black rider was looking for something. Or someone. Frodo?" Frodo can't say anything until Grace screams "Get down" They do just that. They see the black rider still waiting. "I have to leave the shire" Frodo finally reveals. Merryn looks at him "Sam, Grace and I must get to Bree" Merry looks at Grace who smiles at him and he turns back to Frodo and nods. "Right. Buckleberry Ferry, follow me."
They follow Merry but the the black rider is behind them and they're running as fast as they can. Finally they come to the ferry and Grace is the first with Merry to come aboard and then Pippin and Sam. "Get the Rope Sam" Grace tells her brother. Frodo is behind and the knight is not far behind and they just scream at Frodo to Run, Grace is so scared for Frodo's sake" And just in time Frodo jumps up on the ferry and gets away. Grace pulls him up and hugs him. "How far is it to nearest crossing" Grace asks Merry "The Brandwine Bridge, Thirty miles. Grace pulls away from Frodo and just looks at him "Are you alright?" Frodo smiles "As good as i can be" Grace nods and smiles.
Finally they off the ferry and are now walking to the door into Bree "Come on" Frodo tells them and they knock at the door. An old man greets them "What do you want?" "We're heading for the Prancing Pony" The man opens the door. "Hobbits. Five hobbits. What business brings you to bree? the man asks them. "We wish to stay at the inn and our business is our own" Frodo tells him. The man nods and let them in.
It's raining but finally they find the Pranching Pony. They walk in and it's nice to be somwhere warm. Frodo walks up to the recepition. "Excuse me" "Good evening little masters and madam" the man of the inn greets them. "If you're seeking accomdiation we got some nice cozy hobbit-sized rooms available. Mister?" "Underhill. My name is Underhill, we're friends of Gandalf the grey" "Gandalf, oh yes Gandalf i know him. I haven't seen him in six months" All of them is shocked he was supposed to meet them here. They sits down and get something to eat and drink. Grace looks down until Frodo nudges her and she looks up "Grace he'll come" Grace sighes and nods. Sam turns to Frodo and Grace "that fella hasn't stopped staring at you Frodo since we arrived" Grace looks at the man Sam is talking about and wonder who that man is. Frodo turns and sees Pippin telling people at the bar his real name so he runs to stop Pippin but he falls and the ring falls on his finger and he vanishes. Grace puts her hand over her moth in shock, this is not good. Now the question is. Where is Frodo?
