(Y/n) let out a frustrated and tired sigh, she wanted to go home. The sun had set hours ago, but she needed to finish developing the pictures before she left.
(Y/n) inspected the last picture with a long and careful inspection. This one picture was her favorite of the day.
There could be beauty anywhere, even in an abandoned, uncared-for building.
Congratulating herself on a job well done (Y/n) turned around and headed for the door. She was just about done with work for the week and wanted nothing more than to go home and harass Lena into taking the weekend off and ditching the city.
On her way down the hallway, (Y/n) pulled out her cellphone and finally checked for messages.
Lena had sent one hours before, quickly (Y/n) replied and pocketed her phone again.
No sooner than she had put her phone away, it buzzed, and when she checked it, she found a simple message from Lena.
My place now!
A wicked grin stretched across (Y/n) 's lips. "This sounds urgent; I better get round there right now."
"She's feeling demanding today." (Y/n) chuckled. "That is my favorite Lena mode."
With enticing images of Lena in her head (Y/n) made her way out of CatCo and to Lena's apartment.
(Y/n) made quick work of the short journey from CatCo to Lena's apartment. (Y/n) skipped from one foot to another as she waited for Lena to answer.
(Y/n) was mildly disappointed when Lena did answer the door, there were no heated looks, and there was no hint that Lena was feeling a little frisky.
In fact, Lena looked pissed off.
(Y/n) entered the apartment cautiously, following Lena's tense frame inside.
"Hi." (Y/n) smiled as Lena stood glaring at her, her arms crossed over her chest. She was not impressed and was making (Y/n) nervous.
"Hello."
"Err...if we've had an argument, can you tell me about it please because I'm a little confused right now." (Y/n) asked, rubbing the back of her neck.
"Do you want to tell me something?" Lena asked calmly, but her face was not giving away the same signal.
"I love you." (Y/n) replied uncertainly. What else there was to say. She was convinced she hadn't done anything wrong, was it Lena's birthday and she'd forgotten?
"I spoke with Kara today at lunch."
"Whatever she said, I didn't do it!" (Y/n) quickly added.
Lena pursed her lips and continued. "She told me an interesting story."
"I think if you're angry with Kara, you should go and kick her butt and return a little nicer." (Y/n) shrugged.
"I think I'm very nice," Lena replied mysteriously as she slowly began to circle (Y/n).
The photographer furrowed her eyebrows and pursed her lips. Had she missed something? "Err..are you sure we haven't had an argument I don't know about?"
"I'm certain."
"So, we're okay?" (Y/n) asked nervously.
"Maybe."
"Maybe?" What the hell did that mean?
"Answer my question, and we shall see," Lena said softly. "When did you first meet me?"
"Huh, you know when." (Y/n) said, confused.
"No, tell me when you first met me." Lena reaffirmed.
