"Do I have to?" (Y/n) sighed despondently into her pancakes.
Lena knew how to bribe well, a few sweet whispers in her ear and a stack of pancakes from the cafe on the corner of the street smothered with blueberries and strawberries.
(Y/n) hated being so weak.
Lena grinned at her, her green eyes giving off the knowledge that she knew what would happen and (Y/n) was powerless to resist.
"This sucks; I've officially become the simp of the year." (Y/n) said, burying her head in her hands; she was about to spend the afternoon with her least favorite person in the cosmos. (Y/n) was allowed to feel sorry for herself.
"You're not a simp or whatever ridiculous buzzword you've adopted negatively to yourself this week," Lena said, lifting her coffee to her lips and taking a sip. "You're a sweetheart who knows this is important to me, and you love me."
"I do love you, but dammit, why does love always come with these horrific situations?" (Y/n) complained, pushing a blueberry around her plate.
Lena couldn't help the chuckled that escaped her lips. "It's not so dramatic, so quit with the pouting. You look adorable, but it's a bit much this early in the morning."
Lena didn't think it was possible for (Y/n) to deepen her pout, but she did.
"You're a meanie, and I want to rethink this whole relationship." (Y/n) frowned petulantly.
"No, it's too late; there is no going back. You are stuck with my dopey best friend and me." Lena replied smugly.
"Glad you admitted she's dopey." (Y/n) muttered.
"Just get it over with," Lena said as a knock struck the door. "Eat your breakfast. I'll get the door."
"Yes, Mom." (Y/n) retorted.
"If I was your mother (Y/n), the things I have in mind for us tonight would be highly inappropriate," Lena said, lifting her eyebrow.
(Y/n)'s jaw dropped. "Let's do them now and postpone everything else."
"You wish."
"Yeah, I do, that's the point." (Y/n) said, letting out a long dramatic sigh.
Was it possible to rush time ahead so she could get the day over with?

There was something quite disarming about finding herself the victim of a stalker (Y/n) mused as she looked up from her desk to her door.
Kara Danvers ducking around the corner; she'd be back again as she had been doing for the last hour.
Kara's cheeks deepened red as flustered she pushed her glasses up her nose while she fled.
It was rather comical (Y/n) had to admit.
However, this time, a loud crash sounded out along with a scream, quickly (Y/n) rushed to the scene pulling open her door to find sprawled out on the ground was Kara Danvers on top of a very disgruntled Andrea.
(Y/n) felt the urge to laugh bubbling away. She tried to contain it, but it was too much.
"If you even think about laughing (Y/n), I will fire you," Andrea warned.
"What? Me laugh? No way, There is nothing funny to see here." (Y/n) sniggered as Kara kicked her legs into the air, making herself look like a dying fish stick on land.
"Get off me, you big oaf!" Andrea huffed, struggling to lift the woman off her.
"I'm so sorry," Kara replied.
