"Did you remember to bring my cell phone?" (Y/n) leaned into Lena and asked her softly.
(Y/n) had been so occupied carrying both hers and Lena's luggage that she'd forgotten her cell phone and, even if she had remembered it (Y/n), would have been unable to rescue it from Lena's kitchen counter.
"Yes, don't worry, I saw it and picked it up," Lena said as she turned the page of her book.
They'd been in the air for only forty minutes and (Y/n) began to get restless after ten minutes.
A ten-hour flight lay ahead of them, and (Y/n) had no idea what she would do.
Lena had made sure to bring her latest literary favorite and two more for backups in case she finished before the flight was over.
"I'm bored." (Y/n) sighed, falling back into her seat. The moment her head rested against the back, the whole chair vibrated violently back and further.
Lena cracked a smirk as she hid her amusement in her book.
"This kid is annoying me." (Y/n) muttered under her teeth as she heard the young boy chuckle evil from behind her.
"Leave him alone; he's having fun," Lena muttered, turning the page again.
"Pretty sure that's what they said about the revolutionaries in France." (Y/n) complained.
"Did they?"
"Well, someone must have said it." (Y/n) shrugged. "They see a huge mob of angry people and shrug, turn to someone and say, hey, they're just having fun."
"I think you've overthought this."
"I think this kid is going to drive me crazy." (Y/n) gritted her teeth as his boots landed on the back of the seats again.
Lena didn't reply. Instead, she raised the book higher to hide her laughter and continued reading her book.
"Where did you put it?" (Y/n) asked when the child finally grew bored of his game and stopped playing soccer with the back of (Y/n)'s chair.
"Where did I put what?"
"My cell phone."
"It's in my luggage," Lena muttered.
"What! How can I use it there?" (Y/n) shrieked.
"Is there a problem, Madam?" An air stewardess asked, bending slightly to question Lena.
"Yes, thank you, except my girlfriend has decided to turn into a hyperactive six-year-old with patience issues," Lena replied seriously.
"Hey, I'm bored." (Y/n) retorted, defending herself.
"Well, the movie is about to start soon." The stewardess smiled, feeling she'd done her job.
"What movie?" (Y/n) asked.
"Ghostbusters."
"Original or remake?" (Y/n) asked, and Lena rolled her eyes; she knew what was coming.
"I think it is the remake."
"No, thank you, I'd rather chew my legs off." (Y/n) sighed with disgust flopping back against the chair.
Lena offered the poor woman a reassuring smile. How was she to know she would be sharing a flight with one of the most annoying women on the planet.
Fortunately for Lena, she was also the sweetest, but only she knew that, and Lena wasn't about to start telling everyone.
"Don't blame me; I wanted to come on your private jet." (Y/n) shrugged innocently.
