Meredith's POV:

Ms. Foster was suitable to give her kidney, So we are taking her and her son to surgery. Maggie is their to watch Ms. Foster. We start scrubbing in for the surgery and then I ask for a 10- Blade. Everything was going great until Ms. Foster starts to Crash " CHARGE TO 100" " CLEAR!" " CHARGE TO 200" " CLEAR!" " CHARGE TO 300" "CLEAR" " CLEAR" " DAMMIT CHARGE AGAIN!" I say. " Dr. Grey she's gone I'm sorry" Cormac says. " CLEAR NOW!" I say. She just flatlines and I need to call it. " Time of Death 13: 45" I say. ( Random time) When we finish the surgery, I left the room and scrubbed out and Cormac followed me. " Meredith I'm sorry I know how hard it can be when we lose a patient" he says. " I know" I replied. I start to tear up, for some reason this was hurting a lot harder than I expected because she was a mother saving her child and now her child is all alone. I walk out of the scrub room and head straight to the supply closet. I close the door immediately and start breaking down. I start throwing things across the room and I feel a pair of hands holding my arms trying to hold me back and that person turns me around and I see Cormac. I fell to my knees and Cormac comes down with me.

Cormac's POV:

Meredith and I are looking at each other in the eyes. I see her lean in and I feel myself moving in and our lips finally meet. It felt like fireworks going off and I loved it. We were still kissing and I remembered she has a boyfriend and instantly pull away. Even though it felt right I couldn't do that to someone and she wasn't thinking straight. " Oh my God Cormac I'm so sorry" she says trying not to panic. " Hey, hey, hey, it's okay" I say even though I knew it wasn't I just had to get her to calm down. She got up and I got up along with her and I pulled her into a hug and she just cried. Meredith Grey is a strong women I knew that about her already and seeing her breakdown broke my heart. She finally calms down and she tells me " How are we supposed to tell Jake he lost his mother?" " Hey don't worry about it I'll tell him okay, now go home with Andrew" " Oh my God Andrew, I kissed you and I'm with Andrew." " Hey don't worry, we'll talk about this later okay, just go home." " Okay" she says and walks out. Shit what have we done?!

Andrew's POV:

As I finished a case on a guy who fell of the roof, I walked and saw Meredith leaving a supply room and I walked up to her and I say " Hey, is your shift over?" " Yes, can we go home?" she said. " Yea, lets go." I say. We arrived at her house and she immediately went to her bed. Im pretty sure she was just tired and so was I, I went to her bed and fell asleep next to her. I woke up and see her still sleeping peacefully and I know I want to marry her. I already have the ring but I need to find the right time to propose. I see how she looks at the new doctor and I want to make sure I have her before I lose her. I looked over my shoulder and it was 4:00 am, my shift was in a few hours so I just went back to sleep.
