Las Vegas: Day 1 (Monday)I wake up with a pep in my step. The first day in Vegas is gonna be great! I'm not sure what we are doing yet... but I don't care.
I've been up for about an hour. I went downstairs to get some breakfast for Matthew and me. When I got back, he was still asleep! It's time for him to wake up. We have some exploring to do. Plus, I don't want his breakfast to get cold. So, I walk over to the bed and climb on top of the blankets. He's laying on his stomach so I carefully sit on his back.
I run my fingers through his hair, scratching his scalp lightly with my fingernails.
"Hey, sleepyhead. It's time to get up.""Mhmm" He grunts into the pillow.
I kiss his cheek and whisper to him, "I got you some breakfast..."
"Mhmmmm" He grumbles.
"...and coffee."
I see his eyes open completely. He mumbles, "Coffee?"
"Yes. Coffee. Now get up, lazy ass. We have a big day ahead!"
I feel him move underneath me. Next thing I know, he flips around, grabs me and pins me underneath him. It all happened so fast, I didn't even have time to think.
With his eyes staring into mine, I ask, "What?"
He only smiles and kisses me gently on the lips. "Thank you, baby."
"For what?"
"The coffee... duh." Matthew says, making me roll my eyes dramatically.
He gets a little serious, "Don't roll your eyes at me. Are you going to be a bad girl this week?"
"I might be." I smirk at him.
I pull my arm out of his grasp. I grab his jaw and pull his lips to mine. My nails lightly scrape against his skin, not enough to leave a mark, just enough to leave him wanting more. Breaking the kiss and still holding his jaw, I say, "Come on, baby. You don't want your coffee cold, do you?"
He jumps up immediately, "Nope!"
I laugh at his excitement over something so little. But, we know that man loves his caffeine. I get up from the bed and go the bathroom to fix my hair. I decide to leave it straight, taking a hairband to tie it up if need be. It's a little warm outside, it is still September so it hasn't had time to get cold around here yet. I put on some high waisted shorts and a large t-shirt. I tuck the shirt in and put a belt on, and put my black Doc Marten's sandals.
"Matthew, are you ready?" I walk into the room from the bathroom.
He looks up from tying his shoes. "Almost."
I sit down on the couch, facing the side of the bed. "So... what's on the agenda for today?" I ask.
"Well, there are lots of things to do here. We could just walk down the strip, we can go to a casino or something, or we could go to a museum. It's all really up to you. I will do whatever you want to."
I smile, "Okay, let me look up some things to do. Give me one second."
I'm scrolling through my phone seeing so many different places to go to, and things to see! It's gonna be so hard to pick one for today... oh wait! Here we go! "The Titanic Exhibition we—fuck! They are closed on Mondays. Can we go this week, though?"
"Of course we can." Matthew says.
"How about this, why don't we just walk down the strip and maybe see what we can find. I'm tired of looking and you know I'm indecisive."
He laughs, "Yeah, that sounds good. Are you ready to go now?"
"Yep! Let's go!"

We didn't have to walk far to find something to do. There was a small indoor amusement park that we decided would be fun. And it was! We rode on one of those spinning rides, almost like a top. I almost puked, though.
After almost spilling my guts everywhere, we thought it would be best that we just play some arcade games. It took only an hour for us to win enough tickets to get a prize. We put all of our tickets together and Matthew decided to get me a stuffed animal. A dog, which was so sweet. I named him, Doug (Matthew's suggestion). Then we rode on the carousel, which didn't make me want to barf, thank god.
We were starving after a few more rides. There was a burger spot a couple of blocks from the park that we picked to eat. After dinner, we walked around, checking out the area.
Matthew says, "Are you enjoying it so far?"
"Yes! It's been a fun day!"
He grabs my hand and pulls me in for a hug, in the middle of the crowd. As I pull away, we hear a street performer just a few feet away.
I hold onto Matthew's hand tighter, pulling him with me, "Come on! Let's dance!"
He laughs at me, "No, I don't dance. Actually... I can't dance. I'm terrible."
"I don't care! No one cares! I can't dance either, but I'm still going to! Please... for me?"
"Fine. But you owe me." He says as I pull him closer.
He puts one arm around my back and holds my right hand. I rest my arm around his shoulder. We slow dance to the smooth sound of the saxophone. Couples on the sidewalk start to dance too. We have started a trend, I guess. Matthew started out kind of stiff, like he was nervous. But, he loosened up, seeing how happy it made me. "Thank you for this. For all of it." I say with a smile on my face.
Matthew kisses me lightly on the lips, "I- thanks for coming."
The saxophonist stops playing, and starts to pack up. We give him some cash, and continue walking. After a little bit, we start to get tired.
"Are you ready to go back to the room? I'm exhausted." Matthew asks.
"Sure! I'm pretty tired, myself. I need a nice hot bath."
We turn around and make our way back to the hotel. The rest of the night is spent with me taking a hot bath, and cuddling with Matthew until we fall asleep. Nothing special happened after we got back. But, spending this day with Matthew has been so amazing. And it's only the first day!

AN: Sorry for the short chapter this time. I have been so busy with work and school, and I've had a little bit of writers block. I will try to make the next chapter a little longer.
Thanks for the continued support!
