(Jasper and Tsukishima UwU) Bear with me, I suck at writing action scenes so please leave a comment to make me feel better. T~T
Jasper stepped onto the court and smiled. On the other side of the net were his old Teammates, his eyes started to water. They were together again, and working as a Team.
"Hey, what are you so happy for? You're not going to ditch us for him, are you?" Tsukishima came up behind him and placed a hand on his shoulder with a teasing smirk on his face. Jasper shook his head frantically. "NO! They may be my family, but you guys are as well. Right now, you guys matter. Ah, if that makes sense?" Jasper looked at his Team. Hinata was being chased by a demonic River while half the team was laughing and the other half was trying to catch River.
He chuckled and went over to help.
Tsukishima looked at the team across the net and smirked. None of them were above 5'10. That much he could tell, but he knew better than to underestimate them. From what he had been told by Jasper about them, they were always underestimated, and yet, they always came out on top.
He knew they wouldn't win, but they sure as hell would try.
~~~End of Game~~~
So far, Jasper had played his part as an all arounder, but never once had he used his playing style, yet. Tsukishima wondered why that was, but then he looked over at Jasper who was cheering on his team. Tsukishima forgot the world around him for a moment. "Jasper was a part of Kurasuno right now and he didn't plan on leaving it just yet. Jasper's playing style is his playing style. That's what made it so special, it belonged to him. It was a playing style everyone recognized and only he could master.
It was him.
Tsukishima blinked back into reality just in time to bump the ball straight in the air. He looked around startled as if he didn't know what had just hit him. Jasper laughed, "If you have time to space out Tsukishima, you're not playing hard enough!" The coach scolded him as Daichi sent it over the net.
"Stop that laughing you idiot. Start being yourself!" Tsukishima yelled at the taller boy. The team had noticed that Jasper was holding back, but didn't bring it up. They were grateful Tsukishima brought it up, because they didn't have the guts to.
Tsukishima faced the net again after he saw a new determination set in Jasper's eyes. "RIGHT!" Tsukishima smirked at the red-haired boy across from him, he was ruffly 2 inches shorter than him. "Aye, your a string bean aren't you. Nice to meet you Beansprout, I'm Alex. You are?" Alex smirked. Tsukishima could tell he wasn't really paying attention to him so he looked behind him just in time to see the ball about to be spiked.
He was a distraction.
Tsukishima narrowed his eyes and jumped with Kageyama, A white-haired boy spiked the ball. It crashed through their arms leaving them stunned. Alex smirked., it was the last point they needed to win. However, Tsukishima felt a breeze blow behind him. As he was falling, a shadow overcast on him. He turned his head only to see Jasper.
Jasper had blocked the ball and sent it right back over. The gym was silent until Hinata, Kageyama, Tanaka, and Noya all screamed and ran to him. They jumped and piled on top of him in a fit of laughter. They had finally tied the score, it was 25 to 25. The team slumped on the ground in exhaustion. "Well, I guess we can be done. After all, you've played 5 sets and lost all but one of them." The Coach chuckled when both teams dropped to the floor panting.
Tsukishima took off his glasses and wiped the sweat off his brow only for a body to slam into his. "Haha! We did it!" Tsukishima wasn't surprised that Jasper was really light, he figured most of his body weight was muscles.
