Jasper stayed where he was as Tsukishima stormed up to Yamaguchi after the two boys kissed.

"Yamaguchi?" His voice was blank when he spoke, it matched his facial expression. That scared the living shit out of Jasper. "Onii-chan?" Jasper looked over his shoulder. "Good to see you're awake." She rubbed her eyes and then squinted at Tsukishima. "What's wrong with Beanpole? I can feel the anger rolling off him in waves." She slid off Jasper's back and onto the ground. 

"I don't actually know. We followed Yamaguchi because he seemed a bit scared around me. So we figured he was being bullied and I reminded him of one of his bullies. We decided to follow him because he didn't go straight home. Turns out he was just with his boyfriend, but, I don't know what Tsukishima's deal is." He explained while looking at them. Yamaguchi was moving his mouth frantically trying to get the words out but nothing was coming out.

"Oh, now I know what's going on. Yamaguchi is dating two guys at once and only one knows about it." She pointed to Haru. Jasper seemed to connect the dots, "WAIT! Yamaguchi is cheating on Tsukishima with Haru?"Jasper exclaimed in surprise. River nodded her head.

"It's nice to finally meet you, Haru. " Haru gulped but held his ground. He was at least an inch shorter than Tsukishima. "T-T-Tsuki! What are you d-d-doing here?" Yamaguchi looked around as if people were watching.

Tsukishima was getting angrier by the second. Jasper knew he had to step in or something bad was bound to happen. "I was wondering why you were so skittish around Jasper. It was because he knew you were dating Haru. You told him because you weren't expecting to see him again." Tsukishima snarled and took a step toward him. Yamaguchi stumbled backward into Haru's arms. Haru held him to his chest protectively. "Hey man back off, he's with me now so just drop it." Haru pushed Tsukishima.

"H-Haru! Tsuki, stop it! Stop fighting!" Yamaguchi tried to break up the fight but only got pushed back. River him before he fell completely, he flinched at her hard glare. However, to both of their amazement, Haru took a swing at Tsukishima, but the hit never landed on him. Instead, Jasper got socked in the jaw. He grabbed Haru's wrist and twisted it so it was painfully pressed to his back, and before any of them could blink, his cheek was pressed to the ground.

Jasper released him and rubbed his throbbing jaw before turning to Tsukishima. "Are you alright?" Tsukishima only nodded and clenched his fist. He picked up his bag and looked at Yamaguchi. "You make me sick." 

Jasper could practically see Yamaguchi's heart shatter as he said those words and walked away. River scampered after him. Jasper's bag bounced with every step she made. Jasper looked at Yamaguchi with sympathy. "I know you love them both, but, you can only have one. I suggest you choose the one that was willing to get into a fight for you. He still loves you, so don't ever lose that." Jasper left with a sad smile and walked off to find Tsukishima and his sister.

He found them crouched on the side of the road in front of his house. River was rubbing his back while Tsukishima shook. Jasper figured he was crying so he plopped down onto the grass next to him with a sigh. His jaw was throbbing, "Damn, that kid hit me hard." River looked at him, "Then maybe you should put some ice on it, you big oaf." 

Jasper laughed, "Why did you go through all the trouble to learn the word oaf in Japanese? Actually, don't answer that. " He said when he saw her smirk. Her expression then darkened, "Do you think beanpole will be all right?" Jasper was surprised when she spoke in English. "Honestly, I don't really know. I've never dated anyone, but I imagine this must suck really bad for him. What should we do?" Jasper always treated his younger sister as if they were the same age. After all, she was almost as smart as him.

River thought for a moment. "We could ask him if he wants to stay the night? Mom and dad won't be home for another few days and Carol is staying at a friend's house during that time, so we wouldn't have to deal with them." She replied thoughtfully and then looked at him. "It's better to be with someone when you're going through a hard time. you know that more than anyone." She replied.
