"Ah! I can't believe it! I'm finally a 3rd year!" Hinata bounced up and down. He was walking to school with his best friend Yachi, she had joined them in their Second year to help out River. None of the team had teens each other over the summer break so they were excited. "Hinata, you're going to attract a lot of attention! You're not as short as you used to be." She sweatdropped. "Yeah, so quit acting like an idiot." Both friends jumped around to see a girl no taller than 5'0. She had blackish-grey hair and beautiful teal eyes.

"Huh? Who are you?" The girl's eye twitched and she held up a fist, hell's fire erupted behind her. Hinata put the pieces together, "AH! I'M SO SORRY RIVER! YOU JUST LOOK SO GROWN UP AND I DIDDN'T EXPECT YOU TO BE A FIRST YEAR YET." Hinata stumbled back a few steps to avoid her flaming wrath. Yachi giggled, "It's good to see you River-san." River pouted and looked away.

"Hmph, you better be." Her mood suddenly brightened, "Hey, I think you're taller than Kageyama now!" She pointed at him with an evil smirk. Hinata's eyes glittered, "Really? Have you seen him?" Hinata looked around excitedly for his boyfriend.

River rolled her eyes, "Yeah, yeah. Come on you too. I chose the meeting place and have been gathering everyone. Hinata followed after the shorter girl to her chosen spot when she called out, "Oi, you two. Over here."

Hinata and Yachi turned their heads only for their eyes to pop out. 

"Yeah, yeah. We're coming you demon." Tsukishima walked over to them with Yamaguchi hot on his trail. "Y-Y-Y-Yamaguchi? TSUKISHIMA?!" Yachi exclaimed, her eyes were swirling in confusion. "Heh, you've all changed a lot over the summer. But who's this?" Yamaguchi asked pointing to Hinata. Hinata turned white as a cold wind blew against him, River swore she saw his body crack.

River laughed and continued walking, "That's Shouyo you idiot's" Tsukishiama and Yamaguchi looked at him dumbfounded as he sulked after River, Yachi was patting his back. "Ah, Hinata! I'm sorry, I just didn't recognize you! You've become so tall! "Tsukishima trailed after them and sweatdropped, 'Wait until they see what Jasper looks like.'

Finally, they made it to a tree in the courtyard where Kageyama was waiting for them. Hinata immediately gushed over him, "Awah! You look so cool!" His eyes were twinkling.

Kageyama looked at Hinata quizically before his eyes widened in realization. "B-B-BOKE?!" Hinata smiled and leaned on him, "Haha! I'm so tall now!"

"This isn't right," Tsukishima stared at them and sweatdropped. Hinata was as tall as Jasper was in his third year, reconded Jasper had only grown another inch or two since he was still fricken tall. Hinata jumped for joy, reaching out and grabbing onto a high tree branch. Everyone stared up at him in disbelief, "HE CAN STILL JUMP THAT HIGH?!"

Hinata was the next Beast of the court, he had trained all summer with Jasper, developing a new playing style.

"Yeah! I've got to stay in top shape if I want to be the next White Raven." He hung upside down on the branch by his knees and kissed Kageyama. "White Raven? I thought you wanted to be like the Tiny Giant?" Tsukishima asked with the quirk of his head. Hinata pulled away from Kageyama and smiled, "Yeah, the Tiny Giant is cool and all, but the White Raven has a far greater story." 

Tsukishima smiled and nodded his head in agreement. Suddenly the branch Hinata was on shook and everyone looked up. Hinata's grip loosened in surprise at who it was and he was suddenly falling. A hand grabbed his ankle just as he let go. Everyone looked at the black-haired man perched on the tree branch while holding Hinata's ankle.

Tsukishima smiled, "Hey there idiot." The man gave a fake offended look, "Who are you calling idiot, I'm not the one who fell out of the tree." The man released Hinata so he was doing a handstand on the ground. He rolled and stood up as the man hung from his legs with a cheesy smile on his face. Tsukishima went up to him, held his head, and kissed him. His fingers tangled in the man's very long hair that brushed slightly against the ground. When they pulled apart the man dropped out of the tree and smirked at their astonished faces. 

Hinata gasped, "Woah. You let your hair down!" He touched the long strands of his hair. Kageyama shook his head and said, "JASPER?!" Yamaguchi and Yachi couldn't believe what they were seeing. Jasper smiled, held up a peace sign, and said, 

"Konichiwa!"
