Tsukishima couldn't believe what was inside the box, his mind wandered to a conversation he had with River a few months ago while they were in school.
'Hey Beansprout, what do you want for your birthday?'
Tsukishima smiled and reached down into the box and pulled out a black floppy-eared bunny and hugged it to his chest. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Kenma recording him, and then Axel whispered something in Daichi's ear. Daichi nodded and clapped his hands to get everyone's attention. "Alright, we have one last give for you but you're going to have to put the bunny down and follow us." Tsukishima noticed that River and Yamaguchi were both missing but decided to follow them anyways.
What were those two up to?
"Alex, you're up!" Tsukishima turned to look over his shoulder at the middle blocker only to be blinded. "W-Wait! Why the hell is everyone blinding me today!" Tsukishima exclaimed and looked around only to see darkness. "Chillax, it's just for the surprise. I'll guide you man!" Kuroo threw an arm around his shoulder and began walking while Tsukishima grumbled.
"Hehe! This is going t be so fun!" He heard Hinata giggle with Peter. "Chill out you two or I'll throw you both into the water," Milo commented dully. "Aww, Don't be so mean!" Peter whined while Angelo and Suga chuckled, "He is right though, if you don't calm down you'll ruin the surprise," Axel grumbled.
After a moment of walking, they came to a complete stop. Kuroo spun Tsukishima around so he was facing the water. "Hey, Hey Hey! Take the blindfold off now!" Bakuto slapped his back.
Tsukishima scowled but listened to his orders and pulled off the blindfold. The sight he saw was more than breathtaking, it brought tears to his eyes.

"Hello Kei, Happy Birthday."
Tsukishima couldn't stop his body from trembling, he was frozen on the spot. Was this real? Was Jasper really out of bed. "Well, what are you waiting for, an invitation? Go get your man." Milo kicked him in the back sending him stumbling forward.
Even though he stumbled he still kept running until he collided with Jasper. Jasper not being strong enough to take the force, fell over sending them both crashing into the water. Jasper laughed happily only to cough a little and wheeze at the end. "Easy there killer, I just left the hospital this morning and I-" He froze mid-sentence when Tsukishima laid his head on his chest. "You have to stop doing that you idiot. You have to stop endangering yourself, you worried me sick." His voice was gravely and broken. Jasper sighed and hugged him, "I know but," He lifted Tsukishima's head up so they could lock eyes.
"I'll never stop protecting my family."
Tsukishima blinked at him. They were such simple words but they held the weight of the world behind them. Tsukishima took his glasses off and pulled Jasper closer to him. And in front of everyone, he crashed his lips into Jasper's. It was a desperate kiss, but it was somewhat gentle. As if Tsukishima thought Jasper would shatter if he touched him, but he knew better than that. Everyone still onshore erupted into cheers and happy tears. (That rhymed, hehe.)
"Eww, mommy look! Those two boys are kissing." They broke apart and stared at the little girl wide-eyed. "Come on Hunny, we don't associate ourselves with gay." She grabbed her daughter's hand only to dodge a flying crutch. Yamaguchi was holding back a ferocious River, "AND WE DON'T ASSOCIATE OURSELVES WITH BITCHES!" She yelled after them. "What the hell you psychopath! Get your kid under control!" The mother picked up her kick and started running. River growled, "HOW ABOUT YOU GET YOUR MOUTH UNDER CONTROL YOU THOT!" Yamaguchi struggled to keep her contained as Jasper and Tsukishima laughed. Suga and Angelo scolded her for her potty mouth.
Tsukishima turned back to Jasper and pulled him into a hug, "You know, you're the best gift of them all." He whispered into Jasper's ear. Jasper flushed red and placed his steaming face in the crook of Tsukishima's kneck while he laughed.
They truly were made for each other. Jasper suddenly stood up and said, "Tag! You're it!" And he began running towards the group, they all scattered, joining in on the game. Peter scooped up River and put her on his back. Tsukishima chuckled and stood up,
