During the summer of 1976 Cassiopia Grady experienced a whole new kind of magic, magic she hadn't learned about in Hogwarts before. A kind of magic that wasn't even recorded yet, leaving her to experience her new ability by herself.
And if dealing with a crazy new ability, going crazy on fullmoons and turning by the touch of water wasn't enough for a teenage girl, there was also this group of four boys in her year in school that killed every last nerve her best friend had left, espacially when Cassiopia herself started to befriend them, one of them in particular.

The story doensn't end with graduating Hogwarts. Actually, it is where the real untold story begins. A story of a war that goes down in history, a story filled with betrayal and agony but also help, trust and love. The story of a young witch with an unusual ability, fighting along her friends and her brother for what is right, while the world crumbles around them.

- mention of racism based on blood, sexuality, race and lycanthropy
- characters getting k!lled! This book is set during a war in which the characters will fight in. People pass away in wars. I won't go into much details and a lot happens due to spells.

I will make sure to put trigger warnings above a chapter in which it happens! Please do not let yourself get scared away. I just want to make sure you know what will happen at some points in this story and to make you comfortable here.

I want to make sure to give proper credits to theladyofthestory and lilyemerson for some of their original characters that will appear in this fanfiction. Lily owns the version of the McKinnon family I use, Marlenes parents and her brothers are all her OCs. To learn more about Marlenes mother Adrienna, I recommend you read Lilys book "Serenity", following her story. Mia Crestfield also belongs to her.

Diana owns Celeste and Regina Meadows, both will appear throughout this book. Her book 'many moons ago' tells Mary Macdonalds story and it includes them too as well as two of my characters.

Another OC that will appear in this book is Hazel Vance and she belongs to tmoony.

My name is Violet Will and I'm beyond excited to finally share moonstruck with you!

I've been working on this book and my original characters for over three years now and I took a long break and picked it up again, changing names, working on relationships such as familys or lovers and basically rewritting everything I had so far. But I am incredible invested in the story and in the characters and I want to share that with you.

Please keep in mind that I am not an englisch native speaker and therefore spelling mistakes or gramatical errors will most likely appear. I have a beta reader and will try to avoid as many as possible.
