A loud whistle pierced Cassiopias ears as she pushed her trolley around the crowded platform. Oh how she hated crowded spaces, people bumping into her small body, not caring about them penetrating her personal space. She took her case from the trolley and put it inside the train, turning around to her parents.
Rowan Grady, a petite and small woman, looked back at her daughter with a tender smile on her thin lips.
„Have a great year sweetheart," she took her daughters arm and pulled her closer to capture her in a loving hug. Cassie smiled and wrapped her arms around her mothers back and watched over her shoulder as the two men of the Grady family exchanged a hug themselves. They parted just to find themselves in the arms of the second parent, Noahs head resting on his mothers without a problem.
„You will write, both of you did let that slip last year," Rowan scolded in a joking manner, pointing her finger at her son after they parted before looking back at her daughter.
„Yes mum, promise." Noah answered with a small laugh, taking his trunk from the trolley and following his sister through the doors of the train. Both turned around one last time, waving at their parents.
„Goodbye, take care of Cupcake!" Cassie shouted.
„Don't forget his treat when he listens to a command!" Noah added, making both of their parents shaking their heads with smiles. Richard Grady started to question himself again why he had allowed his children to get a puppy during the last year when they were both in school most of the time. But they had begged their parents for years to get a dog and Richard and Rowan had given in a year ago. Both of their children refused to get any other animal that they were actually allowed to take with them to school. They both were undeniably dog persons.
„So," Noah sat down on the seat opposite of his sister in an empty compartment, looking at her with a worried glance.
„Spit it out, what do you want?" she asked, her eyes closed as she leaned her head against the window. She hadn't slept well last night and couldn't wait to take a nap during the train ride.
„What are we going to do about it?" he asked, making her groan.
„Well, I would suggest we keep me away from water and the moon," she answered in a snappy tone like it was the most obvious thing in the world. Cassie took a deep breath afterwards, rubbing her head as memories from the summer filled her mind once again.

„Ready for the beach?" Noah stood in front of the girl, swimshorts and t-shirt on, a towel over his shoulder. Cassie fixed her bun on her head and straightened her summer dress.
„Let's go."
The siblings just needed to get down, step out of the lobby of the hotel and cross the street to get to the beach. They walked around the beach, their bare feet feeling the warm sand underneath them and both siblings enjoyed the unusual feeling.
They found a spot between some rocks, no other human in sight and decided to lay down their belongings.
„Last one in the water has to buy the other three chocolate frogs on the train!" Noah shouted as he sprinted to the water, his sister hot on his tail.
„That wasn't even a fair race!" she shouted back, running right into the waves, letting the water surround her body.
„Well, I don't care. You owe me some chocolate frogs," her brother laughed as Cassie splashed some of the salty water at him.
„In your-," she started but stopped midsentence when she felt a weird feeling in her legs. The water around her began bubbling and she looked down in panic as she couldn't feel her legs anymore. Noahs laugh had left his lips as he stared at his sister in shock - her hazel eyes flashed in a blue colour like the ocean around them. His own ones trailed down to the spot where her legs were only seconds ago.
