Laugher filled the air as students were passing by the open compartment door. Hugs were shared and Cassie smiled at the people outside the window being reunited with their friends and classmates. She had given up on the thought of getting her well earned sleep and decided to watch the joyfull people. Across from her, Skyler had a book in her hands, her eyes scanning the words carefully as she read about Auror missions in the 1920s. Noah was still sat beside Skyler, biting his nails, his left leg moving up and down as he was lost in his thoughts.
„Hey, Grady!" The siblings were dragged away from their thoughts, both turning their head to the door. Skyler didn't bother looking up, recognising the voice right away and not being interested in talking to the owner of it right now.
In the door stood a boy in Noahs age, his dark brown curls as messy as always, however, a change in appearance was noticeable as Cassie realised that his glasses weren't set on his nose as usual. His eyes on the older Grady, a playful grin was set on his lips.
„Did I interrupt your deep thoughts?"„As if you're not used to do that," Noah answered and gave his friend a grin back while he rose from his seat. As he was about to leave the compartment, a girl moved the opposite way, sneaking her way around him and letting herself fall on the seat the boy had just left.
„Promise me to not disturb Celeste at least on your last train ride to school." she said, looking up at her brother, Samuel Davies. A frown appeared on his face as he looked back at her, offended.
„I don't know what you're talking about."
Skyler snorted and finally pulled her eyes away from her book to look at the boy still standing in the doorway.
„Oh please, you're head over heals for Meadows."„I'm not." Samuel simply stated and crossed his arms, which only recieved him a scoff from his sister and a laugh from his friend, Noah.
„Mate, you literally can't sit still unless you talked to her and you bouncing up and down in your seat is really freaking me out every time."
„Thanks for the help," Samuel said in a sarcastic tone, making Noah let lose a laugh again while he put a hand on his friends shoulder.
„Let's go find Benjy so you can go and search for your girlfriend." Noah waved at the girls and dragged his friend away from the compartment. A faint 'not my girlfriend' was heard in the hallway and the three girls chuckled.
„She must be really annoyed with his pathetic attempts by now." Skyler mused with a smug grin, her eyes set on the written words in front of her again.
„No, Noah is right with the term 'girlfriend'. She is secretly enjoying his efforts. She just won't admit it. But every time I mention him in front of her, she get's all flustered and red." the New girl stated with a grin to which a laugh escaped Cassied lips.
„He only has one last year to make her admit her feelings. Do you think he'll complete the mission?"
Gabriella Davies gave her friend a wide grin.„He's a Davies. We always complete our missions."

The train had set off from the platform 9 ¾, children and parents waving at each other, some smiling, some with teary eyes. They were a while into the train ride, Skyler and Gabriella sitting on the floor playing a game of exploding snap. Cassie had removed her shoes to sit cross-legged on the bench, watching the game amused.
The compartment door opened to which Gabriellas head moved up, making a card in front of her explode. She jumped and Skyler raised her arms as she cheered loudly.„You!" she pointed at the girl standing in the door with raised eyebrows, her light brown hair tightly put away in a bun. „You, my dear Dana, are a hero!"
