Hello my dear friends from across the world

I am sure it will take a while for this letter to arrive. It's the 20th September when I write this letter. Let me know when it arrived!

There's so much to tell you. As I told you back in Australia, the boarding school I am attending is located in Scotland and it is a tiny bit rainy here. And yes, that was sarcasm. I guess you don't have a huge issue with rain. Be thankful for that.
I had to back out off our school sports team. Our sport is played outside no matter the weather and I couldn't just cancel every game because of some drops. I already miss it and the first game of the year didn't even take place yet.

The full moon is coming up too and I am worried. Maybe you weren't affected by the first one and this second one. Let me warn you either way; the moon takes your right mind from you. If you see it or even its reflection or light you won't be yourself anymore.
My best friend Skyler knows about our secret, she found out during the last full moon. She was at my place and when I saw the moon shining through my window I wasn't myself anymore. I acted strangely and I couldn't remember anything that I did the next day. That night I ended up in the lake in the village I live in. Skyler protected me and made sure no one saw me. She also explained to me what happened and what I did or better what I tried to do. I tried to seduce her to join me inside the lake. Do you know about the myths of sirens? It is said that they used their voices to seduce men to their deaths, leading them to crash their ships on the cliffs. I am afraid of what I would be capable of in that state and maybe you too. Stay save during full moons.
I will need to find a safe place inside my boarding school without the moon having a chance to get to me. But with Noah and Skyler by my side I feel better. They will help me, whatever might come at us.

Let's head back to more joyful topics, shall we? How are you all doing? Still swimming everyday without exceptions?
I really miss swimming with you. It feels like it became a desire like food or water. I will need to see if I can sneak out during the night to swim in the schools' lake.

I really miss you. I can't wait to see you again one day. Tell me about everything that is happening in Australia, okay?
I love you.

Noah Grady entered the common room in search for his sister and spotted her sitting at one of the desks at the wall, her legs crossed on the chair she sat on and the feather in her right hand carefully scratching over the parchment in front of her.

"Hey Cass, what're doing?"

Cassie looked up from the letter she just finished, "I wrote a letter to the girls back in Australia."

"Do you really want to send an owl that far?"

"Of course not," she stated while neatly and carefully folding the letter. "They're Muggles. They would freak out with an owl sitting at their windows with a letter attached to it's foot." Cassie couldn't help but imagine her friend Cleo opening the curtains in her bedroom, screaming as she spots an owl outside.
She shook her head with a grin, sliding the parchment in the already addressed envelope. "No. I will send the letter to Mum and Dad so they can send it per Muggle mail."

Noah nodded while pursing his lips, his hand moving to scratch first his jaw and then his neck, a thing he used to do when nervous or flustered. Or when he forgot something yet again.

"Cass, remember the morning we were teasing you about falling in the shower?" Cassie threw a glare at him, humming a yes.

"Well, I had an idea-"
