Chapter 14: First Date

One Week Later

                            Sollux POV

Eridan and I have been going out for a week now and everything is going good. All we've been doing is sitting at his house though watching movies, kissing a little.

I wish I could do more for him, but I don't know what. I could take him on a first date, but where could I take him?

"Sollux~! There's this neww movvie that's out!" Bingo, that's where I can take Eridan.

"Oh really what'th it called?"

"It's called Percy Jackson: The Lightning Thief. Can wwe go see it please Sol?" He looked at me with the cutest pleading look, I couldn't say no to him.

"Thure babe, when doeth the movie thart?" Perfect! This could be our first date.

"It starts at 12:30." I looked at the clock it was only 9:00. Enough time to get ready for a movie. Now if only I could figure out how to make it a successful date. I went to go take a shower. As I finished scrubbing myself raw, I went into the guest room where I've been sleeping and picked out some clothes for me to wear. I finally decided on wearing a regular black t-shirt, grey jeans, and black and white shoes.

When I walked out my jaw almost dropped. Eridan was wearing a blue shirt, black knee length shorts, and white sneakers. My boyfriend looked scrumptious.

"Are you ready to go Sol?" He questioned. I nodded my head and he grabbed my hand and practically dragged me to my car.

Throughout the entire ride to the theater, Eridan was bouncing in his seat which looked absolutely adorable. Once we arrived Eridan jumped out of the car and dashed toward the theater, with me following him at a much slower pace.

We bought the tickets and some snacks and headed our way to our movie. We sat in the front row to get a better view. Eridan was absolutely giddy about watching this movie. When the lights dimmed down we knew the movie was beginning.

~2 hours later~

I guess the movie was worth watching. It was basically about some kid who was accused of stealing a god's lightning bolt, so he went on a quest to prove that he was innocent and along the way he ran into some monsters. Eridan enjoyed it, but I think it was only because the kid was the son of the sea god, Poseidon.

"I'm jealous of Percy. If I was the son of the sea god I wwould livve underwwater. Although I'm glad I'm not because then I wwouldn't be able to see your handsome face evveryday Sollux," when he said this I never blushed so hard in my life. And for my troubles I even got a kiss from Eridan for taking him to see the movie.

All in all, it was a fantastic first date.
