Chapter 13: Kiss Me

                           Eridan POV

When we left school to go hang out, Sollux looked angry for some reason. I'm pretty sure it had something to do with Vris, but he won't tell me. He has this look in his eyes whenever I mention Vris.

After 25 minutes of silence we finally arrived at my house and I couldn't be anymore happy. I got out of the car and rushed to my front door with Sollux trudging behind me. I unlocked my door and jumped on my couch. I looked expectantly at Sollux to see what he had planned to do today, but all he did was pull out his laptop and start what he does best and that's hacking and coding.

I sat there patiently waiting for him to spend time with me, but he just kept coding. I even sulked and pouted, but he still just sat there. I finally decided to open my mouth.

"Um are wwe going to do anything because-"

"Ssh." He interrupted me. Okay let's try again.

"So I wwas thinking maybe-"

"Sssh."

"Can I evven get a wwo-"

"ED thut up. I'm buthy. Wait until I'm finithed." He said sternly.

"But you'vve been hacking and coding for the past hour and thirty minutes."

"Yeah, well, thith ith important. Tho go do thomething elthe and leave me alone." And with that he stopped talking to me. I felt heart broken. Once again Sollux Captor has rejected me. I was so upset and angry I stomped off to my room.

I slammed the door and screamed into my pillow. I thought we were finally getting along, but then he goes and does this. I opened my window and slipped out heading to the park. Not knowing there was a storm coming.

                             Sollux POV

Annnnnnd....done. Whew I'm finally finished with my hacking into KK's computer. Now to get Eridan to stop being pissy.

"Yo ED! I'm finithed now, you can thtop your tantrum now." Silence.

"Haha very funny ED, you can thtop the thilent treatment now." Still silence.

"ED? Are you in there?" I turned the knob on his door and what greeted me was unsettling. Eridan wasn't in his room. I looked around trying to find any trace of him, but then I felt a strange breeze. He climbed out through the window!

I ran outside and jumped in the car. I quickly started it and I heard a distinct rumble of thunder. Don't tell me it's gonna rain. I drove the car around and sure enough it was raining.

'Come on Sol think,where would ED go?' Immediately after the thought lingered around in my mind, I slapped myself in stupidity. Of course Eridan is at the park. I sped off to the park.

                           Normal POV

While Sollux was rushing to Eridan's destination, Eridan was sitting on the swing set swinging his legs back and forth. He didn't seem to mind the rain, in fact, he probably doesn't care he's getting soaked. Tears were streaming down his face. He can't believe his day was so bad. He just wanted Sollux to spend time with him. However, while Eridan was moping he didn't sense Sollux walking up behind him.

"You idiot." Eridan turned around to see Sollux looking angry at him.

"Oh it's just you Captor."

"Tho were back to thith again? What are you five? What were you thinking about leaving the houthe in thith weather?"

"Oh savve your breath. I don't need you to scold me like some child. In fact wwhy don't you just get lost."

"Thtop acting tho tough. Okay tho I wathn't paying you any attention boohoo, tho what. What are you thome kind of attention whore?"

Eridan got up and got in Sollux's face.

"YOU MUST THINK YOU'RE SO BAD CAPTOR WWELL GUESS WWHAT YOU'RE NOT! AND TO THINK I BECAME FRIENDS WWITH YOU!"

"YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT I'M GOING THROUGH THO THUT UP AMPORA!"

"MAYBE I SHOULD HANG OUT WWITH VVRIS AND BECOME HIS FRIEND. HECK MAYBE I'LL BECOME MORE THAN HIS FRIEND."

"YOU CAN'T!"

"AND WWHY NOT!?"

"BECAUSE I LOVE YOU MORE THAN THAT THTUPID THIPDER WANNABE!"

And Sollux smashed his lips against Eridan's. It was full of anger, frustration and lust. It was about ten minutes later before they came up for air.

"You.... lovve me?"

"Of courthe you idiot. I've alwayth loved you."

"Then why..."

"Becauthe I didn't know how to thow my love for you and I wanted to get your attention."

It was silent before Eridan spoke up again.

"Sol?"

"Hm?"

".....Kiss me you idiotic fool."

And Sollux complied to his wishes.
