Sorry this is a filler chapter for the next one
Harry walked into the house to find it extremely quiet. After a few minutes of silence, he heard Jace’s elated laughter. He smiled to himself and put his bag down.
“Madeline-Grace?” he said. When no response came, he walked into the living room and found her asleep. “Sweetheart…” he cooed, seeing the tearstains on her cheeks. She didn’t open her eyes, but she did stir around a little bit. Harry sat down and rubbed her back.
“Haz? You home?” Louis’s beautiful voice rang out through the silence.
Harry got up and went to the bottom of the stairs. “Yeah Boo, it’s me. I’m with Madeline-Grace.”
“Would you mind calling Perrie and seeing if she could come over? Something’s up with Madeline-Grace and I told her I would call Perrie once you got home.”
“Well, she is asleep on the couch right now. What’s wrong with her?” Harry asked, seeing Louis appear at the top of the stairs with Jace on his hip. Jace was looking tired and had his head on Louis’s shoulder.
“I dunno. She said she feels like a bad daughter and sister and that she is really stressed. She was really emotional.”
“You don’t think it’s her…” Harry asked.
“I mean, it could be…” Louis said.
“LOUIS!!!!!!” Madeline-Grace called.
“Coming!” Louis went down the stairs, giving Jace to Harry on his way past. He pressed a kiss to Harry’s lips and ran in to be with Madeline-Grace.
“I need you to call Perrie.”
“I am. Give me a second.”
“I’m sorry. I just need her to take me to get something. It’s urgent.”
“Is it your…?”
“Yea.” Madeline-Grace looked embarrassed.
“Hey, it’s Ok. I’ll call her now and tell her to bring something for you. Anything I can get you sweetheart?”
“No. My stomach is cramping up though.”
“I’ll come rub it in a second. Is this your first?”
“Yes sir.”
Louis called Perrie, got a towel, and returned in a few minutes. Harry had started feeding Jace and cooking dinner for the rest of them. Jace was so tired, Harry just gave him some milk and canned baby food.
“Perrie said she was going to be 5 minutes. So I brought a towel to put under you.” Louis lifted her up and laid the towel out.
