They found a good car seat, strapped Jace in, and headed home. He talked the whole way home and Harry and Louis smiled. They had found the perfect match for their family.
Upon arriving home, Harry lifted Jace out of the car and tickled him, and zoomed him inside like an airplane.
“You like him huh?” MG asked Louis.
“Yeah. He is great. I thought about Kai a lot when I saw him. I wonder if Kai was gonna look like that.” Louis had tears in his eyes so MG hugged him. After a few minutes, they broke apart and went in.
Jace was sitting on the floor in front of Liam and Niall in Harry’s lap. He was saying something and making everyone laugh. Louis and MG scooted closer to hear.
“Wiam. Uncle Wiam… Did I get it?”
“Close enough bub,” Harry said. Jace smiled and clapped his hands.
“Yay. Now, what’s your name?” He pointed to Niall.
“Niall. Uncle Niall.”
“Niaw. Uncle Niaw.” Jace had trouble pronouncing his ‘l’s.
“Can you say my name, Jace?” Louis asked, sitting on the floor next to them.
“Papa. It’s easy.”
“No, my real name. Louis.”
“Wou-ee?”
“Louis.”
“Wouee.”
“Yeah babe. Close enough.” Jace climbed over to Louis and asked him something. Louis laughed and said, “I don’t know. Haz, what time is it?”
“5:35. We left the orphanage at 3:45.”
“Ok, just wondering because Jace wants to watch a movie. What time does he usually go to bed?”
“Uh, 2 year olds… 7:45. So 2 hours.” MG sat on the couch in between Niall and Liam and they hugged her.
“I love you,” Liam whispered.
“Love you too. I love you, Daddy.”
“I love you babe,” Niall said and kissed her forehead.
“Jace, what are we watching?” Louis asked.
“Do you have Toy Stowy?”
“1, 2, and 3. Which one?” Liam was excited now; Jace liked Toy Story. It was his favorite movie.
