Chapter 3

“Good morning Lou.”

“Hey MG. How are you?”

“Fine. You?”

“I’m chill. Why were you crying?” Louis asked. MG turned around, surprised.

“You can tell?”

“Barely. Did Liam tell you?”

“Yeah. Did you know?”

“I found out last night. I’m so sorry.” Louis hugged her and she let herself be hugged.

Harry came over and hugged her too. “I’m so sorry. He knows he was wrong to leave and he wants another chance. Please give him another chance to make this right.” MG nodded into his chest. He kissed her head and went back to making breakfast.

Liam and Niall came in soon after and sat down for breakfast. Harry had made pancakes with chocolate chips for them all as MG’s first breakfast with them.

“Daddy? Can Perrie take me shopping? Did you talk to her last night?”

“Uh huh. You’re going with her at 10:00.”

“Awesome! Thanks! I love you Daddy, Dad, Lou, and Harry.”

“Haha, yeah. Eat up! It’s already 9:30! You wanna shower before you go?”

“Yes please!” MG ate her breakfast just like Niall, fast and gratefully, and hopped up by 9:45 to shower. “I’ll be back! Which shower should I use?”

“You can use the main one or ours. Whichever one.”

“I’ll use the one outside my room. Is that Ok?”

“That’s cool, sis. Go shower up!”

MG giggled and ran out. She found some soap already in the bathroom, unopened. It was some brand she had never heard of, but smelled good. She turned the water on hot and stepped under the flow.

It seemed so strange. Liam couldn’t be her dad, yet he had her birth certificate and knew exactly who she was. She trusted him.

“Yo! MG! Almost done?” Niall banged on the door. “7 minutes till Perrie gets here.”

“Yeah, uh, gimme a sec. K?”

“Ok. You want me to grab you a towel and some clothes?”

“Sure! Could you get jeans and a t shirt please?”

“No problem sweets.” Niall left and MG hastily washed her hair and body off. No more than 2 minutes later, Niall knocked and asked if he could come in with her towel and clothes. MG said yes, he came in and left again.
