“MG, wake up.” Someone was shaking her shoulder. “Go ‘way Dad.” A sniffle let her know it wasn’t Liam. She opened her eyes and looked at the clock. 3:26. Why the heck was someone in here this early? Oh…
“I’m up.” The girl flipped over to face the voice. She was met with a little blonde bedhead that had tears running down his face. “Hey buddy. What’s wrong?”
“I went to go get Dadda because I had a bad dream and he said to get him if it ever happened. But when I went in, I saw him getting sick. It was yucky! Now I cant go back to sleep because the bad dream will come back.”
MG frowned and pulled the edge of her covers up so he could slip under. “You want to sleep here tonight?”
“Weally?”
“Yeah, but only tonight. Ok?”
“Ok.” He climbed under the comforter and cuddled up to his sister. Within minutes, both of them were asleep.
“Shh, Niall. Don’t wake them up…” MG woke to hearing Louis’s voice.
“Lou, I can hear you guys.” MG popped one eye open. They were taking pictures on their phones.
“Dang it! I wanted you to sleep.”
“How are Harry and Dad?”
“Both asleep. Long night between throwing up and being uncomfortable.”
“Oh.”
“Why is Jace in here?” Niall asked.
“He had a nightmare and went to go get Louis but saw Harry throwing up. He then came in here because he couldn’t go back to sleep.”
“Oh. I’m sorry.”
“No it’s Ok. I like having a little brother around.”
“Well, I was going to go grab something for breakfast because we are too tired to cook anything and we don’t want you to have to.”
“Oh, Ok. Where are you going?”
“I was just going to run up to the bakery.” Niall went back into his room to grab some shoes. When he got back he said, “Liam is still asleep, but looking very peaky. I’ll be back as soon as I can.”
Jace woke up and was happy to see his papa standing there.
“PAPA!!!!” He jumped into his arms and giggled as Louis peppered him with kisses.
“MG, would you mind taking him downstairs to eat? I’ll be down just as soon as I check on Harry.”
