Chapter 31 - He'll be there tonight

"Scott?"

"Scott?"

"Scott??"

Scott!!!!!" Mum had been yelling at me to wake up before work but i just kept on groaning and going back to sleep over and over again. After a while, she went silent. I opened my eyes a little to peek around the room. My room was completely empty. I closed my eyes back again and sighed victoriously.

A few seconds later, My phone started buzzing. I groaned even more.Who in the world is calling me this early on a saturday morning. I started to get annoyed with the phone when my mum suddenly came inside the room.

"Oh is that Allison? She's been calling since an hour ago" She asked. My eyes opened immdiately at the mention of her name. This time fully awake.

"Allison called me?" I scrambled across my bed to get to my phone. I picked it up, flipped it open and read the screen. My heart immediately sank at the two words on the phone screen.

Mum Calling

I gave my mum a deathly stare that she only responded with a laugh.

" Get up Scott" She smiled before leaving my room to head downstairs. I sighed again while staring at my bright room. The sun was lighting up the whole roomthrough the window behind my bed. Now that i was wide awake, I knew i wont be able to get back to sleep.

I got up from my bed and walked over to the bathroom. I took a nice long shower for a few minutes. I felt the warm water making its way down from my head to my feet. I thought about everything that's been happening for the past few days, which then let me to think about my first and second full moon.

I thought about that time where I fought Jackson and got my ass kicked. Then something unexpected or unexplainable happened. Kanima me was trying to take over my body. Something clicked inside my head and I opened my eyes. Where in the world is the kanima me?

I shook it off and turned off the shower. It was starting to bother me though. I wore a white T-shirt and a pair of long shorts. I took out my phone to see if there was any messages or calls. There was one from Derek and another from Allison.

I opened the one from Allison first.

Scotty? Nobody has ever called me Scotty before except Stiles. I smiled at that.

I then saw the message from Derek. I was expecting something bad or urgent. Because it's always either one of those when it comes to Derek.

Training? Man that seemed like a long long time ago. I can barely remember what we did in the last training. Sighing, I closed my phone and put it in my pocked. I walked out of my room and headed downstairs for some breakfast.

Mum had already left for work. Breakfast was inside the oven. It was still warm. I took it out and smelled the sandwich.

There was tuna inside of my sandwich. After my breakfast was done, I walked out of my house and stopped right outside my door. I realized that there was no car to drive to the old train station. I couldn't take my bike because the station was too far. I took out my phone to call Stiles to come and pick me up.
