Chapter 48- Sacrifice

I was busy running across the woods at night. My vision was all red and black. I was running on all fours. It was quiet out here. The only thing I could hear was my hands and feet pounding on the ground as I ran.

There was only one thing on my mind. I couldn't imagine anything else but her.

Allison

She was close

She was nearby

I could feel her presence

I could even smell her scent from all the way here. Her vanilla strawberry scent completely blocking every other priorities i had. About a few miles later, i could hear Allison's voice. She was breathing heavily. She was trying to remain calm and not break down. I could hear it all from her voice, She was terrified deep inside.

I ran as fast as I could and jumped at the edge of a huge cliff. I was on the air when I saw a huge bon fire coming from below. There were 7 people standing around the fire. There was also a huge chopped off tree a few meter away from where they were standing.

I roared as loud as i could on the way down, before landing and giving Aro a hard slash across his face, making fall and roll over on the ground. The others looked at Aro, surprised. There were 7 people here, all enemies except one, Allison.

They stared wide eyed at my direction as if they were shocked to see me.

"Wh-what is that?" A male voice asked. There was some degree of fear in Laurent voice.

"A True Alpha" One of them said, pausing in between sentences. It was peter.

Their bodies suddenly stiffened at the mention of the words "True Alpha". Their mouths suddenly closed, eyes narrowed.

"I heard a True Alpha is supposed to be tough. He doesn't look so tough to me" James hesitated before speeding my way to punch me in the face. The attack should have sent me flying across the air, but it did not. Instead, I barely moved an inch.

I looked back and roared as loud as possible at his face, the roar alone was powerful enough to send him flying across the air, landing and sliding across the ground later on. I growled as Victoria and the others speeded towards me.

I could see their movements; hear every step thumping like rainwater falling on the ground in slow motion. Victoria came at me first, trying to grab on to me. Before she could do succeed, I ducked and swept her feet off the ground, making her spin in the air twice before falling on the ground.

Laurent came at me next, followed by Peter. I jabbed Laurent in the chest, and swung an arm outwards at peter who came after that. They both flew back and hit the ground hard.

Victoria then came from behind me, but she was too slow. I was already at her back before she tried to kick me. By the time, she realized it, I grabbed her head and snapped her neck, until her head tore from the rest of her body.

James who was still on the ground, screamed at the sight of his dead girlfriend's corpse falling on her knees. His eyes were filled with rage. Both James and Laurent raced towards me as I just stood there.

Just as they were close enough, I used both my palms and pushed it upwards against their neck, beheading their heads into the air while their bodies fell to the ground, now lifeless.

I looked around for Peter, but he was nowhere to be found. I could still smell him though, and he was not that far. I was about to take off to find him, when I suddenly heard a scream coming from a distant.
