Chapter 28 - Isaac's Past Pt 2

This chapter is a filler of Isaac's Past part 2 as I had mentioned in chapter 25. Like I said, I will be updating more chapters about Isaac's past from before and after his supernatural life started. So please comment below if I should write more of Isaac's Past?

(Isaac's Pov)

"Isaac, C'mon let's go, let's go!!! "Alex tried to help me up after I ran and tripped on a broken tree branch. I got as fast as I could and we both started running deeper into the woods trying to escape some huge animal that attacked us earlier in Laila's birthday party near the lake.

The full moon was shining up there in the sky while giving us little light in the forest. I could hear footsteps closing in from behind us as we ran, and it was closing on really fast.

Before I knew it, something gripped my ankle and made me fall straight on my face. I quickly turned around and saw something huge standing on all fours in front of me. "Is that a gorilla?" It's whole body was covered in black fur and it was so huge that it almost looked like that werewolf from the movie Van Helsing. It also had a blood red eyes.

It suddenly gripped my ankle again and pulled me closer towards it until I was right below it. It's eyese directly staring down at mine. I stared at his eyes too while using my arms to grab anything to help me protect myself with and found nothing but a few ant size stones.

The animal now stood on top of me on all fours. It kept each of it's arms and legs on mine trying to keep me from escaping. It started roaring at many directions. The roar was so loud that it made me freeze like a statue. After a few seconds, It stopped roaring and looked down at me as I stared at it with a rapidly growing fear inside of me. Its mouth opened. I could see all the saliva and huge teeth inside it's mouth. From beside each of his front tooth, two incredibly long and sharp one grew out from its gum. They grew until they were about half a foot long. 

It came down all the way until its face was too close to mine and then to my neck. I laid there unable to do anything except to wait for it. It's touched the skin of neck and then went deeper and deeper and finally, the rest of it's teeth pierced my neck. I winced and struggled around as it pierced my neck, but it held me down. I was unable to fight back. I felt incredibly Invulnerable at that time.

In that moment, the image of my family came into my mind. It was during a family photo last year in Australia. Mum was sitting on a stool while my little sister, Anna was standing in front of her and dad was right behind mum. Alex and I were both standing on either sides of my dad.

It was on a beach. Sands were being kicked everywhere. The winds were making the weather feel chilled and perfect for a summer vacation.

"Arrggh "I heard someone screaming as my family image vanished from my mind. Turning around, I saw my brother running in our direction while holding a tree branch as long and thick as a baseball would've been. He swung the branch against the animal. The animal caught it easily in the air and immediately pushed Alex to the ground with ease. The animal turned to face me. It's red eyes staring right at me with complete satisfaction before turning his attention back at Alex.

The animal now stood on top my now half-conscious brother as I watched. I tried to push myself up but couldn't muster enough energy to even move around. Everything just felt numb now as I watched that animal sink it's teeth into my brother's shoulder. I couldn't see clearly anymore. The image of them both was slowly turning into nothingness. My Vision, my strength, everything felt like it was fading away until it was completely darkness.

One week had passed since that incident in the woods. Ever since then, everything was different. Everything felt different. Whatever that animal had done to us that night had changed both Alex and myself. Not just mentally but physically too.

Ever since that night, the first few days and nights were completely horrible for us both. Every now and then we would just lose our temper uncontrollably. We would run out of the house and just go on a complete rampage. Throwing my dad's car into a tree, punching through walls and trees. We even killed a few big animals like deers and all that.

Eventually my mum had to call some doctors over to our house. None of them could come up with an explanation. None of them knew what was happening to us. None of them except one doctor.

Doctor Deaton.

While Alex and I was talking to him, he told us that he was actually a vet and was gonna do a few tests on us in his small clinic.

This may sound a little weird, but according to him, Alex and I were both werewolves. At first we didn't believe it. We thought that maybe it was some sort of common animal disease. Then we heard the bell ring at the front door of the clinic.

Deaton left us in the first room to go and check out who came. A few moments later, he came back in together with someone else following him.

This guy was muscular, tall as my brother and handsome. He had dark green eyes and had this stern vibe coming from all around him. Something told me that this guy was not to be messed with in any way.

" Alex and Isaac,  This is Derek Hale " Deaton said

After Derek showed us his transformation into a werewolf. Alex and I were both stunned and speechless for a few seconds, unable to say anything.

" So it's true? You weren't kidding about us being werewolves? " Alex finally broke the silence.

" unfortunately, I wasn't kidding " Deaton shook his head with a smile that said " Sorry Kid" .

"Hey, Are you okay?" Alex came into my room after i changed my clothes. I was wearing a large pair of shorts and a long grey long sleeve shirt. 

I looked up at him unsure of what to say. I was sitting down on my bed staring down at my mirror when he came in. 

"I don't know" 

"Hey it's gonna be alright. We'll figure out how to work this out" He smiled, or atleast he tried to.

"How do you know? How do you know that we'll be alright?" I asked still staring at the mirror. Before this, whenever I look at myself, I always see me as me. But now, All I can see is a monster with golden eyes, and claws and fangs. And it was starting to scare me now more than ever.

"I don't know" He said. "But all I can do now is to hope, or believe, or whatever it is that might make me go on"
