Chapter 14 Part 1 - The Mysterious Hale History

22nd January 2013, Friday

I woke up early in the morning realising that i was in much better control of my powers than two weeks ago. It's been almost two weeks since i started my training with derek's pack. My mum had agreed to let me stay at Derek's house atleast until I could learn how to fully control my powers. I have to admit, I didn't expect it to be that hard. because in order to be a competable beta to keep up with the others, I had to do a lot of strenghtening and speeding up. After i got my self into shape, I had to fight with the others to see my own weaknesses and to overcome them. Like for instance, I had a problem reacting to certain attacks from all of them except derek. I didn"t get a chance to fight Derek yet. So far for me, the best was still Isaac. 

Other than training with werewolves. My friendship with Stiles was still unrepairable. I was still struggling to keep my secret from Allison and was incredibly nervous about the day when she would find out about my powers. What would she do if she found out?" I was wondering. Then there is also Jackson, who is also a werewolf. We all know how bad he is at controlling his anger at school, and now he's a werewolf, which makes it even tougher to control the anger. Did I also forget to mention that today was a full moon?.

 I got out of one of the rooms, Derek told me that it once belonged to his older sister, Laura Hale. Derek also told me that Laura Hale was not involved in the Hale massacre. The Hale massacre happened about fifteen years ago when Derek was only ten years old. Laura was fifteen. It also appeared that Derek had another younger brother, He was named Jake Hale. He was the twin brother of Cora. Jake and Cora were only a year old at the time. Derek and Laura thought that Jake Hale was also killed during that time.

The remaining Hale siblings moved away from Beacon Hills after that. Two year later, They came back to continue their studies. By the tiime Derek turned fifteen, Laura found Peter wandering around in Beason Hills. Laura attacked him but she ended up dying as Peter left her in the woods for Derek to come out looking for her. After that, It was all up to Derek to take care of Cora who was six years old. After Dereks power's were finally activated, he lost control and accidently killed an innocent girl which appeared to be his girlfriend. He was then found by another beta from my father's pack. Derek didnt learn much about fighting but he managed to learn all he could before the pack was destroyed by vampires. The next part of Derek's story was when I became a werewolf ten years later.
