(Scotts POV)

"Where am I? What is this dark place" I thought. I was lying down face front on a hard ground and realised something was pushing itself against my back. I tried getting up to push it away from my back but I couldn't because i was feeling too weak. It was like a ton of rocks had been placed on my back.

Suddenly I saw a glimmer of light in front of me passing through whatever that was holding me down. The light grew wider and wider and i felt a hand pulling me out of the darkness. My sight was a little blurry and I was still a little confused about what was going on until I heard my name being called.

"Scott!" someone yelled at me. I looked around and realised that i was still in the carnival. It was still night, I think. "Scott! What are you doing here!? Are you okay!?" that person said. "Get up! C'mon, we better get out of here before that thing comes back" Someone yelled at me and held my hand. I looked up to see who it was and realised it was Allison yelling the whole time.

She helped me up as i struggled to get up. I saw two guys exiting the area and I figured they must have been the ones pulling me out.

"What happened " I asked her as she put my right arm around her shoulders." I dont know, we just jumped away from that lamp post and you just vanished into thin air. Then I tried finding you and found you like this" She said.

We exited the carnival and I saw that it was already early morning. The sun hadn't come up yet. I was put into the passengers seat while Allison insisted on driving because of my bad shape. She closed my door and walked over to the driver's seat and sat down while closing the door. She started the car which produced a roaring sound. We left the place in total silence.

After a few minutes had passed, An annoying silence had took over. I was beginning to feel a little uncomfortable because we were both being quiet all the while. I finally broke the silence by letting out a small laugh as i realised something weird.

"What?" she asked as a smile began to form on her face. Obviously she was feeling annoyed too because of the silence.

"Nothing" I said as i could feel her glare towards me and back toward the road . I rolled my eyes to the right to see if she was still glaring at me.

"What!" she demanded.

"Nothing!" My smile was growing wider and wider.

"That doesn't seem like nothing to me" She glanced back at me "Tell me before I kick your ass" she threatened me with a smile.

"Alright fine!" I half yelled. She raised her eyebrows because she won. "I just realised something a little weird, that's all" I said.

"Weird? What's weird?" she asked.

"Nothing, i just realised that normally, the guy would have opened and closed the door for the girl, but in this case the girl is opening and closing it" I said.

"That's weird to you? She asked.

"A little" I replied.

"Hrmmm" was all she said.

About forty five minutes had  passed since we left The carnival. I was just sitting there in the seat thinking of what had happened before i was knocked out by that ceiling that crashed over me.

" How in the world did I let Jackson beat me?" I thought. Fighting against the kanima from within must have took a huge toll on me for me to be weakened and knocked out easily by ceiling that crashed on me. A few minutes after I managed to beat the kanima with my will, power, jackson came back to finish me off.

That's not the only thing that was weird. What's weird is, how in the world did I become an alpha in the first place. I was fighting the kanima while i was in beta form, but the kanima was just too strong. In fact, the kanima was a lot stronger than when I first became a complete beta. After the beating, that's when I saw my eyes changing through a mirror. It became bright red like an alpha's eyes. The kanima didn't have a chance against my will power and my new strength. I became too weak to fight when jackson came back to fight me. I was thinking about the whole thing until i was brought back to reality.
