Chapter 26 - Late

(Scott's Pov)

"Alright, so let me get this straight" The Sheriff leaned against a table in front of us while Jackson, Allison, Stiles and I were sitting down in his office.

"Isaac gets injured in lacrosse and gets sent into the hospital. Correct? "He asked

" Correct "I said

" Allison then goes to the same floor as Isaac's room in the hospital to go to the bathroom but then hears a metal against metal sound. Correct? "He gestures at Allison as she nods, Still gripping her injured shoulder which was bandaged earlier.

" Then you saw the hooded figure trying to kill Isaac in his room but attacked you first when you went in? "Sheriff asks Allison again. She didn't answer. Sheriff saw that she was still pretty shaken up from what happened and took that as a yes.

" And that's when you two boys came in? "Sheriff asked me and Jackson who kept quiet. I slowly nodded. Suddenly, images of Isaac started to picture itself inside my head. Isaac, Boyd and Erica were assigned by Derek to train me at the time when I first joined the pack. They all pretty much enjoyed beating the captain out of me one on one. After some time I began to start improving myself until I could keep up with the rest. Why am I remembering all this. Realizing a tear dropping from my cheeks, I shoved those memories away.

" Why were you two heading up to Isaac's room anyway? "Sheriff asked both me and Jackson. I didn't know what to say. I couldn't say a thing. My voice wouldn't come out. Should I tell him that I used my werewolf hearing and heard Allison screaming or lie to him." I looked at Jackson nervously and back to sheriff.

"Uhh it was Scott's mum. She told me to go help check on Isaac" Jackson glanced at me. "I didn't feel comfortable going by myself. So I called McCall to come with me. And that's when we saw what the hooded figure was doing and he knocked us both out cold" Jackson said. Sheriff looked like he had trouble taking in all of this. After a few minutes, he decided to let us all go

"How's your shoulder? " I asked Allison as we all got out of the hospital. Jackson, Lydia and Stiles were walking in front of us.

" It still hurts " She said. I took a quick glance down at her shoulder and held her hand. Sighing, I looked around to see if anyone was looking. Focus on the pain. That's what Isaac said to me earlier. Focus on the pain. I gripped her hand and not even a second later, I felt the veins on my arm reacting like electricity was flowing through it.

" Scott? " I looked at her to see her puzzled look." What's wrong? " I asked her.

" I can't feel any pain on my shoulder any more "She tried touching her shoulder before I caught her arm.

" Hey, you okay? What do you mean you don't feel any pain" I asked acting confused.

"I mean the pain on my shoulder, it's gone. It's like it just vanished just like that "She said

I stared at her blankly for a few seconds before coming back to my senses. She's a hunter's daughter , and I just did something supernatural. What if she starts wondering how the pain vanished and connect it to me being a werewolf. I should have thought of this before doing something so stupid. All these things went through my mind while I started to mentally panic.

Alright, maybe taking away all the pain was a bad idea. So I tried something.

"Allison, didn't my mum give you some painkillers while you were still unconscious earlier?" I asked.

She looked up at me, "She did? I don't know, I'm not sure. She didn't say anything "

"Yeah she did. She told me earlier. Maybe it's finally taking effect " I said. Allison kept quiet. She was deep in thought for a few seconds.
