Chapter 5 - christmas and two familys meeting

Y/N's POV
It is Christmas Eve and Rami and I decided that we should celebrate together with both our family's together. I was excited for my dad and sister to meet Rami's family. I made sure to buy gifts for Rami's family, since I wanted to show I would be a good in-law when it comes that time.

"Y/N you ready?"

"Yea, did you pack the gifts and the brownies in the car buba?"

"Yes sweetheart."

"Ok thank you."

"No problem my love."

When I came down stairs he turned towards me and his jaw dropped. I was wearing a simple cable knit sweater with jeans, my hair tied back, mascara for makeup, and simple white adidas. He was wearing jeans with a blue button up shirt un-buttoned one and white adidas.

"And here I thought you couldn't get any more beautiful."

"Aw buba, thank you. You look handsome."

"Now shall I walk my princess to her awaiting carriage?"

"Yes you may my prince."

With that he offered his arm and I gladly excepted it. We walked out to the car and drove to my dads house. When we arrived we unpacked the gifts and the brownies and walked up to the door. Angel opened the door with excitement in her eyes.

"Y/N! Rami! I'm glad you guys made it!"

"We're glad we made it to can we come in and say hi to dad?"

"Yea sure Y/N."

"Thank you."

We walked in to the house and set the brownies in the kitchen and the gifts under the tree. After that Rami and I sat on the couch cuddling with my legs over his and his arm around my shoulders. All of a sudden we heard the front door knock. I stood up and walked over to the door to see Yasmine, Sami, and Mrs. Malek.

"Hey guys, glad you could make it."

"Us to Y/N. Where should we put the presents and food?"

"I can take the food to the kitchen and the present can go under the tree in the living room where Rami is."

"Oh thank you Y/N, you're so sweet."

"You're welcome."

With that we walked into the house I put the food in the kitchen and then joined the family in the living room. When I walked in I saw Yasmine and Mrs.Malek sitting on one sofa, my dad and little sister on the other sofa, and Rami and Sami next to each other. Everyone is talking and I walked to sit next to Rami. Both him and Sami looked at me and smiled.

"Hey Y/N my love how are you?"

"Hey buba I'm good how bout you?"

"I'm good, glad to spend the holidays with my family, my beautiful girlfriend, and her family."

"Wait did I just hear Y/N calling Rami buba?"

I heard Yasmine say across the room. I blushed and looked down at my lap.

"Yea, I just wanted to give a cute nickname."

I said shyly.

"Rami do you have any nicknames for her since she has a really cute one for you?"

"I actually have two."

"And?"

"I call her my love and sweetheart. The reason being she is the love of my life and she is so sweet."

Everyone awed at the cuteness between Rami and I. Well everyone except my sister who pretended pretended to puke. She doesn't like the super sweet stuff. With that we all had dinner and talked some more. After dinner we all cleaned up and went to open presents. I gave Rami his gift and he looked at me with love.

"Sweetheart you didn't have to get me a gift."

"But I wanted to buba, and besides I think you will love me even more after you find out what it is."

"Ok but only for you my love. Also here's your gift I wanted to give you something special like you."

"Aw buba thank you."

Both our family's awed at the exchange that just happened. I watched Rami unwrap his present first. I watched his eyes light up with joy once he saw the gift.

"Are these what I think they are?"

"Yes, they really are."

"What did she get you?"

My little sister chimes in.

"Angel!"

"No dad it's fine, I got him tickets to see the new James Bond movie coming out. Also might I add that they are the ones in London."

"What really? Y/N thank you so much!"

"You're welcome buba. Also there is one more surprise in there."

Rami looked inside to find a second ticket. He looked at my with happiness spread across his face. He then leaned into a kiss. After the kiss I told why the second ticket.

"So you can choose who to go with you to the premier."

"Thank you my love. Also would you like to go with me?"

"It would be my honour."

"Ok you two enough with the lovey dovey stuff."

"Oh yea Y/N open the gift I got you."

"Ok buba."

I unwrapped the present and saw a jewelry box. I opened the jewelry box to find the most beautiful necklace I had seen. It was a simple silver necklace with the acting masks as the pendant. I looked up at Rami and smiled.

"Thank you buba, it's beautiful."

"So you like it?"

"I don't like, I love it. Thank you again."

"Anything for you my love."

He then helped me put on the necklace. After the necklace was put on I turned to see Rami and kissed him. The rest of the night was filled with opening presents from the others, laughing, and just hanging out. At around 10:30 in the evening Rami and I headed home. He dropped me off at home and walked me to the door.

"Thank you again for the necklace. I absolutely love it."

"You're welcome my love it represents the first time we met. Also thank you for the tickets, I'm really looking forward to watching it with you."

"You're welcome and I can't wait either. Goodnight buba."

"Goodnight my love."

He kissed me softly and his hands around my waist. When we pulled out of the kiss he walked to the car and drove to his place. When I say I fall more in love with him everyday I'm not joking.
