Katerina had moved to Berlin after the destruction of Sokovia with the little money she owned. She found an apartment that was falling apart at its seams and a job at a local flower shop. She knew it would be a nice change of scenery. Something beautiful to surround herself with as she plotted. She hadn't made up a plan yet. Maybe let some villains escape? She found out about Ultron and how one Sokovian mutant joined the Avengers. It made her blood boil that a Sokovian would even consider joining the people that destroyed their home. Those... terrorists. Those monsters. She sprayed the petals of the flowers before her angrily before a bell chimed, shifting her angry mind to the door. She forced a smile as an expensive-looking man walked into the flower shop, a thin smile adorning his handsome features.

"Hello. How may I help you?" Katerina asked with a slight blush. She's met many handsome men, but this one felt special, especially when his smile widened. She couldn't help but feel like she knew him, but she didn't comment on it.

"Hello. I am looking for a bouquet. I am going to a memorial, and I would like to pay my respects." His German accent had a twist, and she knew immediately where it was from, as she had the exact one.

"Are- are you from Sokovia?" She asked quietly. His smile turned into a brief frown before his smile returned.

"It appears my accent does shine through, does it not?" He asked. Katerina gasped softly. After the fight of Ultron and the destruction of her people, she didn't find many Sokovians left. Most went to Mandripoor now that they had no homes or money. Katerina stayed in Berlin because she knew a few people there.

"I'm Katerina. I come from Sokovia as well. What memorial are you visiting?" She asked gently, her voice soft. The man tilted his head, and Katerina mirrored his actions with a soft smile.

"I am Helmut Zemo." He said, not answering her other question. Katerina's eyes widened at his name. The baron?! She quickly bowed her head and placed her bottle down.

"Oh my, The Baron?" He nodded but walked closer to her and gently touched her shoulder.

"No need to bow to me now that our country is no more." He said gently. Katerina nodded briefly and pursed her thick lips.

"I apologize." She said. Helmut smiled and squeezed her shoulder.

"I am going to the Sokovian Memorial." He told her. Katerina furrowed her brows and tilted her head once more in confusion.

"But we are in Berlin. Why not get one closer to the country... well.. rubble." She asked. Helmut bit his lip as though he was contemplating what he should say. The man sighed and let his hand fall limply at his side.

"Well, I must be honest. I saw you in the window, and... the pretty blossoms do not compare to your beauty." He said. Katerina's eyes widened at his words. She looked him in the eyes to see if he was lying, and when she saw no indication that he was, she blushed deeply, her cheeks turning a soft pink.
